I feel like Sam's Club will always win with price and Scan & Go alone, but in regards to quality, Costco, hands down.

Hey there, Jia! I really liked this version of Sam’s v Costco. Perhaps you could do other comparable stores (Walmart v Target for example). Those Reese’s chocolate dipped cookies looked insane and the caramel and cheese flavored popcorn. 😋😋😋

I got a $15 membership to try Sam's, and I do like them for a few things .. I got the Scotch tape for $6-7 on sale at Sam's, then saw it at Costco for $13 and was blown away. Dishwasher detergent is noticeably cheaper at Sam's as well. I love Costco, but I think they might be taking advantage of the reputation a bit on some of their pricing... Now I want to compare more stuff. I have noticed Sam's offers smaller sizes on a lot of things to bring prices down, and frankly, I think that's smart. I still prefer Costco, but Sam's is earning my respect.

I love egg nog so much. That Southern Comfort is my favorite brand too. The vanilla spice flavor is good also. I can't buy it though because I could drink that whole quart!

I'm totally with you on the pillow issues. I've been struggling with finding the right type of pillows for probably the same amount of years. I've invested so much money & time on trying to find the right pillows .

Vitamix is worth it. It's a better blender. I had a Ninja before. I bought a refurbished one almost 8 years ago and it's still going strong. The company has great customer service as well.

Have you tried the Mediflow water pillow? I love mine and like the fact you can adjust it by adding more water.

I love my copper fit pillow. They have them on Amazon in 2 sizes.

I use the Omnia pillow from Sleep & Glow. Pricey but life-changing.

I like the comparison but you have to watch the packaging. For instance the tape at Sam’s has the same number of rolls as Costco but not the same length per roll. Costco has ~300 more inches. Same thing with the crescent rolls. Sam’s is 4 cans, 32 total while Costco is 5 cans, 40 total. I started doing this comparison a few years ago trying to figure out where to buy protein shakes. In general there are some things I like better at Sam’s and some Costco.

Just a note on the "non-gmo" chickens - there actually isn't such a thing as a GMO chicken. There are selectively bred chickens for certain characteristics, like in all sorts of other animals we utilize of keep as humans, but the majority of chickens raised for consumption are just a selective breed (Cornish Cross) because they grow quickly and have large breasts.

I feel Sam's wins on prices.... But....at least where I am in PA....Costco wins in customer service! Sam's list my $ due to poor customer service! I cancelled two mattresses after waiting for three months for them. Another month later they were delivered to my house and I had to get them back to Sam's! And that was the final straw with Sam's! Costco's quality on so many things is better. Kirkland for the win here!

I really enjoyed the comparison in the same video. The algorithm doesn't put your cideos together so if i watch one i have to go and find the other one to compare. This way is way better in my opinion.

I did a test with Costco regular frozen chicken breast and the organic frozen chicken breast. When the regular was cooked in the oven the breasts shrunk up in the pan and i had to use a turkey baister to remove all the liquid in the pan. They were literally swimming in liquid. With the organic, minimal liquid, no shrinking and the organic tasted better, it tasted like chicken.

I prefer Costco for clothes, personal hygiene products, and over the counter medication for my family and me. I prefer Sam's for snacks and groceries.

I’m a Sam club girl. Costco i get overwhelmed and it’s always too many ppl when I go. I have been different times and different Costco. I barely have those issues when going to Sam’s.

I have memberships to all 3 box stores in my area. Costco, Sam's, and BJs. Sams club wins for me hands down.

I have a dog so he gets the old towels, then I just add towels when needed

Costco is too overwhelming in my area. It’s always packed and not as much variety. I love Sam’s! Gave up my Costco membership 5 years ago.

The produce at Costco fluctuates with the freshness so it's hard to compare with another store. The higher the price, the fresher it is. As it gets older the price lowers to move it out of the store. Not sure if Sams does this too.

For pillows I don't remember the brand but they are organic cotton down alternative pillows I got at Costco years ago. I just keep washing them to make them keep lasting because I can't find them again. Towels....I haven't replacedy towels in probably 10 years. I bought 4 new ones from Costco about 6onths ago because they were oversized bath towels but we still have all our towels from soany years ago. They are still in good condition and they still dry so why spend money replacing something that still works.

I take old towels and blankets to the animal shelters...

currently have Sam's but being a shift worker, the pre made meals in the deli @ Costco is what im curious about. That to me seems to sell me on the convenience. Would you recommend the meat section (chicken, beef, pork) at Sam's or Costco?

The Scotch tape at Costco had 2 different brands for $13 in the package… the tape at Sam’s was all the same tape

Buy the kids real vacuums so they can pretend while they are really working 😂

Both stores in comparison would be nice if you actually got accurate prices for each and did real comparisons. Most times you say you can’t remember or you think it’s more or less without checking the footage or past videos before putting the video out.

I know some animal shelters will take older towels!

FYI the steamer works great on clothes as well and is quicker and easier than using an iron and ironing board!!!

Overall, Sams is better...they have more of a variety & their bakery is far superior than Costco's (imo) But we have both memberships and I'd say it's worth it to have both if they are close to you

The thing that I've learned about Sam's and Costco is the price of the food may be a little cheaper at Sam's sometimes but the quality at Costco is wayyyy better. I've purchased a lot of produce from Sam's over the years that doesn't make it past a week.

My grandkids and myself love eggnog add little extra cinnamon and grated nutmeg delish.

We love the Publix brand eggnog the best! And they also have an amaretto drinking custard that is absolutely AMAZING!!!

My son love the Hawaiian rolls and I use to buy them from Sam’s all the time but recently stop because our last two packed wasn’t good or tasted fresh. It did taste like it was frozen hard and thawed out.
