Your Costco might, mine does not allow it anymore. If yours does then I would just cash it out.

If you have the Costco Citi card, you have the option to deposit directly into your bank account.

That’s only with the Citi cash back not with the regular 2% executive cash back. So yes with the Citi cash back you should do the direct deposit to save more money.

Why wouldn't you just use it to pay off you shopping..

You can but then you miss out on 2-4% of whatever your cash back for the year was.

So if I got $100 back I’m doing all of this just to get $1.98 back later? Not much of a hack my friend. Time is money.

Many people get more than $100 back every year. Some bigger families & businesses even get to the max $1000 you can get back.

How’s it saving you money by cashing out if you’re going to shop at Costco anyway and spend the money? Lol it’s a good hack if you NEED the cash but to not SAVE money

Most people use a credit card at Costco and that gives you more cash back. By cashing it out and using a credit card you’re getting more money back on not just your credit card but also your membership in general. If you buy groceries with it you’re not getting between 2-4% back from that money.
