The 'Croc Bridge' on the Tarcoles River is a top spot for eco-tourism. It's a unique and very special place where hordes of crocodiles gather in impressive numbers. We decided to take the adventure one step further and go for a crocodile cruise on the Tarcoles River
While driving from La Fortuna To Jaco we had to chance to stop for a river cruise to search for crocodiles. This was a great way to break up the drive and I can't believe how many crocodiles we saw, and how big some of them were!

I did a similar boat trip excursion (if not the exact same one) off of a Holland America cruise through the Panama Canal in 2017. The wildlife in Costa Rica was great!

Crocodiles and snakes- yikes!! And huge ones at that! I hope the crocs didn’t get those beautiful horses wading through the water. How do they know that croc is 85? Looks like an awesome vacation! Enjoy!

I think they can tell by the size, but I'm not really sure
Bringing back such great memories of Costa Rica. I've done that crocodile river tour twice and absolutely love it. The first time I went, I have to admit that I was just expecting caiman and then to see Osama taking up a whole riverbank - Yikes!

They looks like Nile Crocodils ...
I went I liked it but it’s saddening how polluted it is…. 😞 it’s the most polluted river there at least it was
