$13.50 for a dozen eggs , $ 9.18 for a litre of milk $41 for an UNCOOKED rotisserie chicken , $27 a pack of cigarettes , can of baked beans $8.64 , container of yogurt almost $13 IN ST BARTS. WOW , CRAZY ! Starting to look like some of the prices in that movie Soylent Green . Plus some of the highest capital gains taxes anywhere in the world . Prices to buy are comprable to Monaco !
was suppose to go on vacation to St Barts in April 2020 then covid hit. insane prices. I've been to Bora Bora on vacation and the food prices were cheap compared to St Barts. if you want somewhere cheap to live with a nice climate, great scenery, restaurants and nightlife look at Ohrid, North Macedonia.

Why is St.Barts sooooooo expensive!!!???? I wanted to relocate there and work in the hospital there. I'm a healthcare provider. I was thinking I could make a good living or so I thought. After hearing the food and real estate prices, I could NEVER afford to relocate there. Why??? So expensive???? How do the locals afford to live there???
