Well a lot is changing at Corvera golf, the place has been bought by new investors and they are currently working on Corvera to bring it back to its former glory.

Since I don't play golf, I can't appreciate the obsession with building so many that go unused/abandoned. It looks like people live there, and presumably, housing must be way undervalued and a good time to buy. Looks like some people lost their shirt investing in so many facilities that never panned out. Thanks for the ride, enjoyed the cloudy day.

Very nice location to explore, I'm sorry to see so many closed golf courses in Spain. But I won't mind having a nice vacation home there. Thanks for taking us along on another road trip Shaun.

Shaun I like to window top left and this informal footage. Again Spain has this fascination with golfing and golfing estates. Being a retired golfer I would have jumped at owing one of these villas a few years back. Cheers mate 👍🇦🇺🍷🍷

Expat in Mazarron ahah can’t wait to see. Mini golf is a different animal tho and I recommend to play after a few beers 🍻 it’s better that way so you don’t feel bad when you suck lol

The first development was Roda Golf, San Javier area, phase 1 and 2 were ready in 2006/2007 and the development in the video built later. We have an apartment at Roda Golf. Last time we visited Corvera is was looking like a bit of a ghost town. Good to see more cars so more people there.

Hi Shaun What a shame it looks like an overgrown ghost town, I feel sorry for the people who have bought properties there,i was due to come out to Spain next week golfing but that's been skyboshed,great video.

Shaun I played this golf course three times with my old golf society and it was never in good nick as the grass was a brown colour but I liked the layout of the course. Here is another example of bad management and the people who have bought properties here must be well peed off. The clubhouse was its best feature such a shame.

Thank you Stefan, glad you enjoyed the video. Spain has coronavirus which changes everyday, my wife is in Germany at the moment and hopefully she returns next week. This is something you will have to decide. At the moment, planes are still flying here. Today it was 26c in the sun! Many thanks for watching :)

Expat in Mazarron indeed that old community fee sticks in my throat a bit ... especially if you feel your not getting value from it ...

Shaun some 'bits" are well kept but the bulk of the god awful place is run down & its odds on that anyone investing there will loose their money.

There are a few dotted around the Murcia region that have no golf courses working and at the moment nothing is going on here - hopefully next year some change. Many thanks for watching :)
