    I was getting serious irritation on the outer edge of the 4th toe, by cutting part of the 5th toe spreader off as shown in the vid, I am now able to wear them without pain. The product is extremely helpful in keeping my big toe from getting sore during/after running. Thanks!

    At a $100 a pair (CAD), ya better be good using scissors lol. Been using these for about 2 weeks - i have buckling on the under-side between two toes - sometimes that hurts a bit. Just ordered toe socks tho - so want to try that before cutting the CT's. Also YEARS of plantar fasciosis ...often mistaken for fasciitis I think. Anyway - this seems to be opening up the areas allowing more blood flow and less plantar issues. Find cushion zero drop wide toe box shoes too. Been a life changer!

    I bought the medium size by mistake realize that I needed the large however the large do Buckle at the last two toes but I sent a picture into their customer service and they said that don't worry about the Buckle it's normal . With the toe socks it seems to adjust to that buckle . Wearing my correct toes with no socks at all there is a buckle it used to be annoying at first but that was about 7 weeks ago and now it seems to have adjusted because my toes straightened out more . Been wearing mine for nine weeks now and I noticed a difference between sliding my fingers between my toes to wash how much easier that is because now my toes are not cramped anymore since wearing these. I have a wide foot I bought some Lems shoes but it's the gene material up top so it doesn't Flex as much to add my correct toes to wear them so I did go on Amazon and I found some $30 0 drop cheap water shoes however they work really good with my correct toes because it's stretchy mesh on the top. Also bought some toe socks as well. I also do a lot of the foot exercises with gripping the hacky sack. I noticed now that the left metatarsal doesn't cause me pain anymore and my right lower back is no longer sore after working all day.

    I had to trim off the fan shape on the bottom toward the top of the toes. Apparently, I have an abundance of padding on the bottoms of the tips of my toes. So incredible painful. It wasn't the spacing between the toes that caused problem but all the extra edging creating unnecessary pressure. I have a low volume foot, but Correct Toes and how painful this edging is has helped explain to me why the dept of the toe box right at the toes always feels so small to me. My toes aren't low volume.

    I just found you all and I've been watching your videos daily. Glad to see a new upload--great instructional video! I have 2 questions: 1) I have wide feet (used to wear men's size 9.5-10.5 in my old shoes depending on how wide they were), and I ended up purchasing the large correct toes (after comparing to a printed out size guide). Is it common for people with wide feet to get the large sized correct toes despite the suggestion that men with shoe sizes 11.5+ get that size (I am only size 9.5-10.5). 2) I also purchased strutz pro pads and already own injinji toe socks. Would you be able to do a video showing these products being used all together and explaining the benefits of doing so? I realize this may not be possible because your product is solely the correct toes, but thought it might be helpful. Thanks in advance for your help Correct Toes team. Keep up the great work! :D

Our sizing guidlines are a general suggestion based off of shoe size, however everyone's feet are different. Toe length and girth will also affect which size fits best on an individual. If you feel good in the large and they are staying in place then you should be just fine. Without socks these blistered one of my toes. Rather than modify I just bought more pairs of toe socks and I always wear the spreader over them. Bonus, this stretches the toes slightly more. I’ve been at this a month, wearing barefoot shoes (with my spreader) and wearing a spreader around the house that spreads my toes even more. I can already spread my toes myself slightly using my own muscles, which was unthinkable a month ago.

    That's not what they're saying what they're saying is everything starts with the foot. 10 weeks ago my left ball of my foot hurt every time that I walked it was killing me. Not only that the right of my inner thigh was hurting didn't even know why until I realized to compensate for the left foot pain I was pointing my right foot outward. Went to my foot doctor that I've known for 20 years and he said look how you're walking on your right foot your knee is twisted and so is your hip. He gave me some correctos videos to watch and 9 weeks later I don't have any lower back pain. Left ball of my foot with the help of correct toes and a metatarsal pad is almost nonexistent. Also been wearing zero drop shoes. Those took a while because I was told you have to ease your way into him since wearing a arch support shoe for so many years but I went straight from wrong shoes to right shoes paid the price because my feet didn't hurt but they were just rather sore because they weren't strong enough yet to be wearing zero drop shoes now I wear them and I fall asleep in them because I don't even realize I have my shoes on still

    Correct Toes needs a size between medium and large. I wear a Medium. In fact, based on the sizing, I should be the smallest size in that category. However, it hardly begins to straighten the great toe. When I add soft material to the center of the spacer to straighten my toe (and I've tried many), the silicone ends up feeling hard and painful. And I need to add something now after months of wearing these. Why? Because the bit between the great toe and 2nd toe keeps popping up and out of place, which is inconvenient and uncomfortable when walking. That would be fine, and sure it's an indication that my great toe is moving, but my toe still isn't straight when this is going on and so without something more, I seem to have reached the maximum benefit from the CorrectToes without the right sort of spacer. The right sort of material for additional spacing ought to be supplied with the product. The spacing is not the issue when it comes to discomfort; the issue is the lack of give - additional rigidity. The large size is huge. There seems to be no way around this issue save to sacrifice my YogaToes (the largest space in those) to provide some comfort. Even then, the toe is not straight. I can straighten my great toes and even move them beyond straight and so the issue is not one of lack of mobility. Correct Toes needs to sort this - either provide appropriate spacing material or have more sizes. I shouldn't have to order silicone online or sacrifice my YogaToes to make these fit.Show less

    Why should the bunion modification only be used after 3-4 months of consistent use?

  • @correcttoes

    @correcttoes

    7 жыл бұрын

    Great question! We recommend 3-4 months of use to allow the toes and feet to grow accustomed to this new position. Since they are being aligned, we don't want users to push the boundaries and hurt themselves. However, if you feel like the current fit isn't spacing enough, add the modification, but be extremely mindful. Lightly test it to ensure comfort and safety.

    I’ve never really had problems with my feet or my tows ever. I recently (about 2 months ago) broke my left pinky toe, and while it was healing, wearing shoes with a narrow toe box caused my toe to set and heal in a way that I feel is improper. That single pinky toe is kinda hugging up against my 4th toe and it no longer splays out properly. I have recently switched to Vivobarefoot shoes and I’m absolutely loving them so far. Do you think this product will help readjust my pinky toe to its proper positioning? Even tho it was cause by a break?

  • @correcttoes

    It would depend on on how mobile it is. Try and splay your toe manually, if it is able to realign then Correct Toes can be beneficial.

    I pretty much can’t splay it at all, it’s completely healed now, as far as I know, no pain or anything I just can’t move it myself anymore. I would say I can splay it maybe 10% of that my other little toe can do. I bought the correct toes, and I’ve been using them and having great results everywhere but that one toe. It kinda stays hugged up to the toe next to it. Do you think this is irreversible damage?

    There is a transition guideline to avoid any discomfort or pain. The biggest key is to go slow and listen to your body. Correct Toes can help with realignment, however, it can be a longer process. Similar to braces, you're moving structures and it can take time to correct years of displacement from narrow shoes. I recently purchased the Correct Toes and found that the soft, flexible medical grade material is very comfortable to wear and I can now walk 5 kms with reduced foot pain. I am hoping that as I continue to extend their use most of my foot pain over much longer distances will disappear. Comfort Toes are $95 pair here. Money well spent to my mind. Cheers.
