I was ready to laugh at this - but its a very interesting video - and useful. This guy knows his stuff in a big way. Wish I had seen this when I had my G60 'Rado. And its a serious face fungus, dude :)

He's not referring to .6 PSI he's talking about .6 BAR which converts to approx. 8.7 PSI of boost. At full performance .8 BAR, it is equal to approx. 11.6 PSI of boost, which is actually quite good for a stock supercharger.. I have friends that run their G-laders comfortably at 1.0 BAR which is 14.5 PSI..

They chose to use a small rubber band to synchronise the 2 scrolls inside the charger, great idea Fritz, and if you think I sound bitter, you bet ya I am, steaming up north on the M25 at like 105 MPH, and clink and no power, pulled on to the hard shoulder to find a nice hole in my g-lader. Everywhere I looked they wanted at least a grand even for a second hand charger, so my Polo G40 spent the next 3 years running on 3 cylinders and no charger, lol, sapped the power somewhat.

Nostalgic. I eish my corrado was that clean

I was wondering why someone that seems to be American is talking about Boost in BAR, I didn't think americans knew what a BAR is. They normally use PSI

Is there any maintenance you have to do with the supercharger? Or and thing you have to keep an eye out for in the G60 engines? I’m new and want more information. Any would help please and thank you in advance.

most useless supercharger design ever. needs rebuild every 20k miles. a proper charger using planetary gearing system is best for output and longevity.

Is good practice to check little velt of G60 every few kms (8000-10.000) and replace it if you think is not in good conditions.
