I don't believe his parents because they were very against an autopsy and Trump was pushing for NK tortured poor Otto to death narrative, yet 2 doctors claim there were NO traumatic injuries on Otto not even a bed sore.

If he'd been my son, I would have demanded an autopsy.

His dentist said his teeth were only sunken back a bit due to gum loss which is expected in coma patients. His parents were lying to push Trump's agenda to claim he was tortured to death. That's why they didn't want an autopsy. They wanted revenge and Trump wanted a reason to impose sanctions.

Could it be possible that he was trying to hang himself and might have been stopped by the guards.

Maybe that's because he wasn't bedridden for a year. Maybe the bedridden part was only a week or so. The other disabilities could have happened piece by piece throughout the year while he was ambulatory. And then they added the final blow, the actual cause of death, perhaps the mysterious foot wound, the untreated infection that spiked his fever and actually killed him.

We must get the word out to American citizens that America's great Are soil you are safe, other countries are very different. Unfortunately so many young people travel to other countries and don't realize a simple prank can be catastrophic in another country.

Kenny Dog yes I'm just saying we need to inform our citizens that they need to be careful other countries are very different from ours. Wasn't it 10 years ago was it Bangkok where the boy was publicly caned. And darn it I cannot remember what his crime plus I think he was 18?

Strange how the family refused internal medical research on cause of the incident..... He was at fault for his arrest.. anyone who would want to travel to N. Korea would know how severe breaking the law there was... yes He was at fault.... though the punishment was cruel and unjust for our standards. It is typical for the rule of law there.

His only fault was that he went there. Whether he really stole the poster or not is up in the air. North Korea says that he stole the poster, but the grainy video was so unclear that no one can make out who that culprit really was. If anything, Otto Warmbier was probably framed and conspired against. He was detained and held as a bargaining chip against America. His confession seemed rehearsed, and parts of his confession seemed like what a non-english speaker would say. He was probably intimidated (and possibly drugged and/or tortured) to confess. Parents should've let doctors perform autopsy on Otto's body to get a concrete evidence and expose North Korea to the World.
