It's amazing how life is. In 1997 Victoria Wyndham and Kathryn Hays celebrated 25 Years on Another World as Rachel #3 and Kim Hughes on Another World & As The World Turns both owned by Proctor & Gamble. They went down memory lane showing old school clips and the like yet Diedre goes to Jail and Two Years Later Bad Girls debuts inspired by Diedre's Arrest. Now more than ever US Soap Fans watch UK Soaps and they love them. I hope they do something special for Bill Roache he deserves it. I would love for Don Hastings (Ex Dr. Bob Hughes) As The World Turns come on as Ken's US Pen Pal who found him through The Internet. Don played The Role from 1960-2010 and is still The US's Longest Male Soap Actor.

Ken should STFU! He's been a terrible Father to Peter and Susan (RIP), he wasn't there for them, he raised Tracy like his own and didn't do a thing for Daniel. Also, he has to remind himself that Peter never takes responsibility for his life, and keeps playing The "You Abandoned Me" Card and if you raised me properly and was there for me, I'd be better off but Ken barely could get his life in order. Dealing with Deidre, Tracy, chronically unemployed, etc.

Excellent acting.

Wow! What a horrific way to come Home to your Family. The Barlow Men seem to have so many "problems". Ken had a complicated relationship with his Father Frank, then he has problems with Peter, and now Peter has problems with Simon. Ken feels ashamed and guilty that he had to go to Canada to work to take care of his Family, also he should remember that Peter is not Diedre's Son and not her responsibility. On The US Soap Opera Dr. Bob Hughes had a Stepson named Andy who was a recovering Alcoholic but he never overstepped his boundaries allowing Andy's Parents Kim & John to deal with him. Sometimes Ken doesn't realize that when push comes to shove Diedre was in many ways The "Man" of that house. She worked, took care of Tracy, loved Adam as if he were her own Grandson, and dealing with Peter's Drinking that can destroy any Family. Oh here's another fun fact. Don Hastings also Debuted as Dr. Bob Hughes in 1960 and played him until The Show's Cancellation in 2010. He received an Honorary Daytime Emmy for his work on US Soaps.

Yeah... all I'll say is yeah and thats really interesting :) Makes total logical sense when you think about it, also I believe firmly that usually people who have had to deal with guilt tend to push it on others, usually or variably without even realising (it's probably not dealing with it or even knowing where to start), not that I am trained with such things but or I could be getting that slightly wrong I suppose.

Look at the jobs he's had, Taxi Driver, Supermarket Employee, Employment Counselor, Substitute Teacher and of all things an Agony Uncle who can tell others how to solver their problems but he can't solve his Family's Own Problems.

You know who was good at saying "Shut Up!" Crazy Eyes on Orange Is The New Black. She beat up an inmate within an inch of her life. Poor Ken, now Peter's going to hit rock bottom, he's going to have to use "Tough Love". Kick his @ss out, let him live in a Hostel, don't give him any support whatsoever, he also forgot that Claudia paid for his Rehab that he "left".

If Cheryl Ann Tweedy does the best One Tear Cry, Anne Kirkbridge (Ex-Diedre), can do the best "Ugly Cry". Ken and Gail are "Too Nice" to their Kids, I'm sorry but I would have told Tracy to move out with Amy.

@@tuxedocat3020 Yep. Look at The Huxtable Kids on The Cosby Show. Remember Denise "deliberately" forgot to put in the Application for the Home in Rhode Island, NY. She didn't want to leave home because she knew that she'd be alone with Olivia and Martin would be out to Sea, she'd have no Friends, Family no support system.

Just because someone is an alcoholic don't mean they are a murderer and Ken was a good judge of character not liking that Rob.

I think that their Finances were in Dire Straits and they needed to get "Paid". Also remember when you transfer Canadian Currency to British it's not as much. I'm surprised Ken didn't go Online and read The UK Papers. Also Peter should remember that it's not Diedre's job to take care of him. What was Ken doing in Canada for work. Was he a Teacher or something?

On Emmerdale The Actor who played Scott got let go and The Young Man who played Daz (Andy's Younger Brother) Biological also was let go for the same thing. Also look at Bruno Langley who was let go as Todd and Michael Munhey who played Adam Newman Number #4 overall was let go for acting inappropriately with his Former Co-Star Hunter King who played his Half Niece Summer.
