The inevitable happens in this episode.Some of the women on the Street feel duty bound to tell Jasmine just what Annie Walker feels about her behind her back.Quite a sad last few minutes and well acted by all concerned.You really feel Billy won't be well disposed to Annie for a long time at that point.

A sad brutal storyline realistically acted by all concerned..The days when Coronation St was character driven facing issues rather than issues just grafted onto the programme in a clumsy and obvious way. Great acting and writing here..superb..

Lucille Soong went on to a pretty decent Hollywood career. I hope she was treated well despite the context of the storyline.
