I hate winter gloves too so usually use a pair of those free petrol station gloves inside my sports gloves, two on colder days.

Yep, that’s my retirement plan. A breakfast cafe marketed around ‘bikes… ah only 24 years to go until my NHS retirement date. Nice little ride out in the great British weather. Keep em’ comin’ Kate. 👍👍

Hi Kate your singalong pizza hut song reminded of 2003 trip around England Scotland Wales in.a rental Corsa .each weekday we listened to the Chris Moyles radio One show to break the monotony of the journey and the pizza McDonalds song was repeated daily as well justin Timberlake. It always amazes me how good these bikes sound with standard exhaust systems.. My CB100r is a damp.squid in comparison... I was never a fan of hash browns and not part of a scottish breakfast but we seem to see them more and more and I quite like them now. Fried Bread or Tattie Scone and Black Pudding are a must for me but tomatoes 👎. The big question. Ketchup or Brown Sauce.. None for you obviously 😂. Bogin roads near the end. Nice 1 mate 👍

Great vid. Although the weather was still cold (just like the northern part here in the Netherlands) you had a fantastic ride, your country lanes are amazing. The blue wheels on MIke s bike are a nice feature. Big thumbs up👍👍🇳🇱

I’m totally with you on those Hash Browns…do remember the Little Chef aka Little Thief chain….they did an American Style brekkie, two hash browns, then had optional add-one, so the other one is Black Pudding for me yes Hash Browns Black Pudding yummy🙌

You are right, those little west country roads can be mortifying even in the dry. If you meet anything coming the other way they can be a nightmare.

Trying to convince my better half to let us visit that cafe when we're down there in a few weeks now! Might have to tempt her with the full breakfast! I LOVE Cornwall. Even in a car, the roads are absolutely staggering. Not as twisty and wriggly as Scotland but better for 40-50mph winding roads you can cruise through. The road down to Lands End is brilliant.

Black pudding is a must. No to mushrooms though

Winter Gloves? Yikes! you folks need to ride those big bikes down here for your trials! Welcome any time... take the studio you guys would have a ball...

I can survive without hash browns, but love black pudding..... hahaha :D I love the single track roads in Cornwall... but when wet with leaves down they are proper dodgy, hard to stop in a hurry if you have an oncoming car.... had a police car run me into a hedge down by HMS Raleigh when I was based down there! Brill vid Kate :-)

I ride similar narrow roads in Co Fermanagh on my Can Am Spyder. Not the most sensible set of wheels but good fun.

You and I have very different tastes. My idea of a perfect English is Hamsteak, sausages, black and white pudding, baked beans and CHIPS!. No potatoes or bread.

A man could live off black pudding and fried eggs. !!!

No chips no beans !

Also don't like riding with thick winter gloves because of the lack of feel. Oh and agree no chips or black pudding for me or tomatoes either. Yuck!

Must ride down to Cornwall one day! My Nana used to live down there. As a kid was the best👍. I use earbuds with the phone n offline google maps so far so good (if the map stops the voice seems to carry on). P.s Mike found you a fun route👍

Username Kate 😍 X I went o my speed triple 1200 with the RS suspension lol 😅 she went like a missile over took couple cars on the bends to Ruthin went little too fast as i am running tyres In and bike lol she is comfortable for me and handles like on a roller coaster 😉

Hate tomatoes, beans and black pudding so I don't bother much but I love fried bread

The chequered flag is a peculiar place. They often have a few bikes inside for sale + second hand clothing and nik naks. I once bought a pair of Givi panniers in there for £60. It's been a while since I was there but they used to also rent out workshop space and tools. Definitely nowhere else like it.

If i didn't ride a scooter and still rode my ninja 300 the ones your ride would be my bike of choice. To me they look awesome. Oh and my wife hates thick gloves for the same reason, lack of feel. Something you don't kneed on a scoot. Safe riding.🇦🇺

Dang Kate, now I have to wait for the next video to see if you and Mike made it back home after dark. On coming headlight not dimmed ... YUK Tunnels of vegetation with narrow road ... not my cup of tea. Hear you can look left or right ans see for miles unless riding mountain roads but still much better views. It's been a cool weekend here but haven't checked the weather to see if it snowed again in the mountains near here, South Pass in the Rocky Mountains, again since about a week ago. Breakfast looked quit good, did you get your black pudding? lol

Another small breakfast for you and Mike! Lol. How come you left your egg? I'm like you, I bloody hate wet gravely back roads. Oh yeah, I did notice that when you did the NC500, you always seemed to be in third or fourth, I was willing you to change up loads of times. 🙄.

I bought gsx s 1000 f after 10 years not riding. yup i need time to get back. But there is a lot of info on line so learn practice ...

need to stick some glove tacts on the gloves it helps them work with touchscreens so no need taking your gloves off if its chilly lol

Regarding riding the expensive press bikes if you should happen to damage one does that fall on your insurance or does the manufacturer/dealership cover it?

Great video. Enjoyed your couple of Cornwall videos and original reviews. Also enjoyed your GSX 8S reviews and actually bought one! I went for black. More than enough power for the riding you did on these videos. Great torque. Relaxed around town. However the S1000s are cheap presently and, well, a super bike. Given the cost of buying, registration, insurance and fuel, real world would you own the GSX S1000 or the GSX 8S? Would trade you from the 8S to the 1000?

@@UsernameKate I`m only 5`9"" tall and around 10 -11 stone. I was concerned about the size of the bigger GS`s compared to the 850. I have a 2008 Street Triple that is HERE to Stay !! This would be a `Second` bike. Popped in to Williams MCR.

Soggy Toms are just wrong!

Winter gloves can’t feel clutch or anything and too tight! I prefer summer gloves even in the winter! Fingers do suffer though

What is the fuelling like on those bikes?

I cant remember the exact mpg but it has quite a big tank, 20 litres I believe!

hash browns , naa take or leave an Americanisum and you dont like black pud , a Lancashire lasss hash browns invented to use waste potatoe peelings , an english hash brown was from a good chipy , more like a onion baji , 90% over cook black pud and thats then orrid

Re: full English breakfast...I just don't get it. How can you wax lyrical about (specifically) hash browns and (generally) potato versatility and then slag off chips...? You're right about the black pudding though, and the peppered visor; either of those and your back end will be very much skidding out 🤢
