Cormac: Combining Rave- and Drug Culture
Ойын-сауық
In this week’s episode we meet with Cormac, who’s mostly playing disco, italo disco and house - and who’s known for his closing performances at Berghain’s Panorama Bar and their SNAX parties with sets that can go on for over 10 hours.
In this conversation we speak about Cormac’s upbringing in Northern Ireland during the war, his teenage years, denying his queerness and then finding power through the club scene - something that’s been a journey and led to him today being sober.
In the extra material we speak to Cormac about how he prepares his sets from start to finish, we also speak about inspiration and where he finds it, as well as him giving his best tips on record stores in Berlin. Only available on Patreon (from 2€) go to / playfulmagazine .
