I was 16yrs old when I first heard this song and it brought tears to my eyes ...... 15yrs later and I'm 30yrs old and it still brings tears to my eyes......... Absolutely love this song

I was 10 years old when I first listened to this. It was a hot summer midnight, I went downstairs to get a cold water from the fridge. I turned the tv on and it's my local tv airing vh1. Not long after, Like a Star played in its older MV(not the new one available on CBR's channel, the other one!). I instantly love the music, the MV, and the whole aesthetic of the art. Trust me, it was one of magical moments of my life.

This song has had me in a chokehold for 16 years. Even though the studio recording of this is a masterpiece, I just love this live, drumless, pared down version with strings. It’s so humble and intimate. She’s a real underrated genius.

Ever since I found this song as a kid I still refuse to ever skip when it comes on my Playlist.

I first heard this song in 2006. I was a little kid, and what I remember from that experience was my body physically being in a state of awe. My heart bubbled with love, the hairs on my arm stood on end and I had chills running down my spine. I was 12 years-old at the time and I remember wondering if there would ever be someone who would make me feel the way she felt when she wrote this... I’m now 27... And I met him. Together for four years now, and this is our song. ♥️

I put my daughter sleep while I let her listen to this song. it's so relaxing and my baby also loves it💕💕

It’s now 2022 , I’m still in love with this song…and I’m 70 years old!

“Just like oils on my hands” line always gets me .... my grandmother use to put Virgin olive oil in my hands,feet and forehead and will pray over me as a bedtime routine.

Her smile while she's singing so precious... Her voice ; sweetest voice ever... Left me speechless. 😍

Corrine is such a pleasure to listen to. One of my favorite songs. I just love her voice. Very talented and unique definitely a breath of fresh air from the cookie cutter songs out there.

The British producers are masters when it comes to sound quality in records and when configuring live acoustics for a singer. I'm American and as a song composer I search desperately for any advice from the other side of the pond when it comes to music.
