I think the corgi made some very good points, but the cat didn't seem impressed.

I love how the cat passively has so much authority and he knows it.

I never heard a corgi bark so quietly before. With my sister's corgis it always goes 0 to 11 quick, no middle ground.

Corgi's are the greatest but you have to train them right with toddlers. They have the sheephearding/corral reflex and it cannot be helped. They see a infant or toddler and they corral them like sheep.

The cat is like: "The fuck you smokin'?

The corgi was later found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The suicide note was in the cat's handwriting.

It's not "just nature", because in their natural habitat the cat concerned wouldn't choose to remain in the vicinity of the dog for long. The conditions are artificial in that respect. I'm not suggesting that the cat was in mortal danger, but I sense s/he could have done without the hassle. Looked like it wanted to relax. The dog may have just wanted to play, but dogs like to play chase and cats don't - although they often play rough. I've seen cats who tolerate dogs and who are not afraid, but I've also seen cats who, even when domiciled with dogs for long periods, visibly shrink and tiptoe around dogs in order to pass them etc. I'm not suggesting that anyone calls social services or anything, but in general I don't think that many cats really enjoy sharing their homes with dogs; though I know there are many exceptions.

Now that I re-inspect the dog, I think it's actually just a different color variety of a Shibe.

Love the dog that comes in at the end like "wow, what's going on, this is so fascinating".

Love how Curie gets to showing some teeth there, a kinda snarly smile. This was very cute and totally enjoyable. It is easy to see there is much love in your household.

My family had a pair like that, the Corgi and a black cat almost identical to your's. With only a year between them, the cat was the older of the two, they grew up and grew old together. The dog passed away at twenty one and the cat a year later at twenty three. They remained friends for life and one would always go to the defense of the other if they were in trouble. I remember when my dog was eight months old I visited my parents, Lassie the corgi was sixteen at the time and had become deaf as a post and Twinkle (don't blame me, my dad came up with that name) was seventeen and had slowed up considerably. One of their neighbours had a marmalade tom that used to jump the fence and try to beat up the old cat. Imagine it's surprise when instead of finding an elderly pair found an eight month old Dingo / Red Heeler cross in the yard. Needless to say he didn't visit the yard much after that.

Guys It's not animal abuse. Honestly it looks like siblings arguing. That cat could and would have fucked that dog up if it was that irritated. at 0:24 that cat could have moved 10 times faster. Its claws weren't even out the whole video. My cat oreo has done more damage from us getting into her personal space and shes fairly calm, she just has an attitude.

Freeze at 1:13. That dog on the left is about to get 3v1'd. Watch from 1:18 on and only look at the right dog. See how his lip moves & how he moves toward the left dog? He's NOT there to gang up on the cat. He's actually pretty close to attacking the left dog, who i believe is not a fullgrown dog, to discipline him. The cat doesn't know this and just knows it's surrounded by excited dogs, but it's actually the dog on the left that was about to get his butt whooped.

I guess some find it funny, but I think it's horrible to not train a dog not to do that to a cat. It makes me sick that the owner just laughs while to the cat it clearly is menacing and looks dangerous. The dog sees the cat as prey.

We recently moved close to my fiancés grandparents, and my 6 year old corgi is sooo confused why we won't let him chase their cat 🤣🤣🤣 he doesn't because he's a very good boi, but for a while, when the cat was around, he'd perk up, wide eyes observing the cat, cock his head to the side and look at us, then the cat, us, then back at the cat again lol. Like "these weird humans actually WANT the cat around, what in the hecc?"
