As great as Corey did, it makes me appreciate laynes vocals more. So unique he was.

I'm not saying he's not a good singer or this cover sucks, because he's so versatile and he has nothing to prove but in my humble opinion (which means nothing) I think Ripper Owens has a better job singing Rainbow and Corey can't hit Dio's vocal range, in the other hand I think Taylor and Stone Sour kicked ass with Tallica's Creeping death.

+Carlos Llano Layne's voice is definitely harder to master than Dio's voice was, but they're both legends PERIOD!!!

Corey is ridiculously talented. He can not only scream and growl with the best of them but also has an excellent singing voice. And it seems like he's able to cover anything pretty well.

the more i see and hear about corey taylor... the more i like this guy.

TubedFisch see I was introduced to Slipknot through Iowa and fell in love with it. Self titled was meh for me. And I hated Volume 3. To each their own.

He came the closest to matching Laynes power but he didnt come close to capturing Laynes pain.. I love Corey and think he did a hell of a job!

Love Corey's voice but it really, truly makes you appreciate Layne Staley and how great a singer he was. Most struggle singing AIC songs.

Corey and Layne are/were such amazing artists, they'll never be forgotten.

They are still amazing... Still touring and making music. Nuno ( Their guitarist ) tours and plays with pop star Rhianna . Pays well I'd imagine.

As Jakob Kepic said 2 years ago, I have to agree....I think Corey has a great voice, and as good as he did singing this, it makes me appreciate Layne and what a truly great singer he was -- his tone, range, soul....everything.

For years these two are hands down my all time favorite bands (in this case members of my favorite), how TF have I never thought about searching if they collaborated... Oh boy here I go obsessing again..
