A summary of the elements and modules covered on day two, of four, prior to the end-of-day, all-out, live-fighting...talking about training context, overall ultra-short-game strategy, primary offensive tactics, support skills, primary striking tools...a lot covered, but so much more to follow...
The focus of the Foundation Course is depth...featuring a relatively generic 'small' skillset presented with versatility, adaptation, and technical proficiency, and tactical performance - this revolves around the fundamentals that are relevant to having a striking-centric base model - there's a LOT of detail...and even more work, with the 'quality' bar set high.

Absolutely first class stuff from mick! The most pragmatic and best thought out system of combat i have come across in the last 20 years... Highly recommended for anyone looking to defend themselves in the real world under real conditions.

Do you think that this could work in the UFC?
Always enjoy your videos Mick and learn practical combatives methods from your instruction. Was trying to understand something you said about striking as you said force can only be applied in a straight line. Isn't a golf swing an elliptical trajectory and the Thai boxing round kick a continuous circle?
