People on bikes get scared whenever there's a big dog chasing it, now imagine 250+ Kg Beast who thinks you can be it's dinner in the middle of a jungle at night. You're driving thinkin' about random things and all of a sudden you hear a loud roar and a Tiger jumps out of bushes to ambush & attack your moving bike. Even thinking anything like that is enough to scare the hell out of me. I hope forest dept captures it asap and release it somewhere safe.

The caring capacity of the forests in Uttarakhand has reached its prime. Now the animals are moving kit because of less space. Tigers & leopards establish their territories. The weaker ones are drifted out of the park by the stronger animals. I would call this the main reason for man-animal conflict. 🙏

We can't even imagine what must have happened with Afsarul bhai. It's horrifying to see a tiger killing a human & then consuming its body. Dekh ke shareer ki rooh kaamp uthti hai. One basic thing that humans need to understand that if you mess with nature you will have to pay for it. Corbett is a wild life reserve but people have made it business spot you will find luxurious resorts deep in the jungle now the employees and guests have to travel. So it is us who are encroaching their home and want it to be ours.I have seen people travelling on two wheelers at 11pm, I have seen people going to jungle at that part of night to booze. So now what do you expect from a tiger? I tell you it won't be long for us to see the green jungle turn into a concrete jungle if this is our approach.

Bingo I agree with the points you have mentioned in the comment. As a wildlife enthusiast & conservationist, I'm against all the policies that are turning into stupidities. There's not enough space in the jungle to accommodate the predators that's why they are coming toward civilization. The Supreme Court needs to take action at least on the highway, and mining projects which are the main reasons for deforestation. Bikers should be stopped or convoys should be available to assist them during late-night hours. Thanks for writing in brother. 🙏

Informative. However, it is unsettling to learn that Tigers are choosing to attack moving vehicles of late. The Forest deptt should probably consider passing an order for the Safari Gypsies to have a mandatory strong steel mesh as a safeguard. The authorities are “forced” to act only after a gruesome incident and after strong and angry public outrage, dharnas, supported by press ridicule. Preemptive action is not the forte of our departments, sadly.

The mesh that you suggested is a good option according to me also as it will act like a shield to save the driver & the tourists from the animals within the tiger reserve. This has not yet been reported to the police or forest department as the bodies have been totally consumed and only bones are remaining! One old women collecting firewood has also been killed recently in the marchula area too .

You must do a video on Jaulasal forest resthouse ( FRH ) in Nandhaur wildlife sanctuary Haldwani division . Even keri zone is Corbett is supeb especially for Grey Hornbill sightings .

Well, Marchula is a beautiful place. Yes, most of the reserves in Corbett do not have any fencing. There is one problem tiger ahead if marchula in kupi village which I covered a month back. My advice to you is to leave for Corbett early in the morning as Marchula is quite far. You will be crossing the Dhangarhi Mohan belt where the recent tiger attacks have taken place. So cross that area during the day & do not venture out at night as it is very risky. 🙏 Have a superb trip buddy. 🤗

I saw a hindi news report where some forest official had said the forest authorities are of the opinion that it could be a sub adult because they and old tigers tend to go after easy prey like humans instead of their regular prey like deer, etc. At this point I don't know what to believe until the authorities give concrete details. You are right. It isn't correct to speculate that might result in unnecessary fear mongering and waiting for details from authorities is the right way. The dent on the car looked like it was made by a huge animal if it was indeed by a tiger. I just feel for the victims and their families. Also those who stay in the vicinity of the forest. Not everyone can afford cars to go about their work in relative safety. And if a tiger actually targetted a moving car, then that tiger could potentially attack the gypsies as well in the future. Extreme caution must be exercised till more clarity is available on this

Hi Debolina. See I have just seen one picture of the animal that I have shown you guys in the video. To me, he's looking bigger than a sub-adult tiger. We need to understand the first 2 attacks to get a clear picture regarding the 3rd incident. Now I am going according to what the eyewitness has told me. He is the only one who has properly seen the tiger. Regarding the marks on the car yes by looking at them. that it was a big tiger because a sub-adult will not do this. Yeah bro his name is Vivek Awasthi. He covered the Sitabani zone of the Ramnagar forest division. That is a different tiger in a different location close to Corbett park. 🙏🤗

Unhone abhi ek naya resort Corbett mein bhi khola hai wahi se wo jungle trecking bhi karwate hain jo avshesh mile the unhe wo unke treck k raaste mein hi the. Bol rahe the Madan bhai ki resort k guests agar jungle trecking book karte hain to isi route pe trecking karwate hain wo aur is location pe bhi le kar ja sakte hain. Curious bhi hoon jane ko le kar, par fatt bhi rahi hai kyunki maneater ka mamla hai. 😅

Generally, nowadays tigers are sent to rescue centers since most of the cages in metropolitan zoos are occupied. Tiger Reserves are creating rescue centers near the park so that they can easily transport the tiger after capturing it. 🙏

What's up buddy? Thank you for liking the vlog. Bro according to me this tiger is young. Now he must have gotten injured in a fight or must have been hit by a truck or by a car which must have triggered something in his brain. He's not old that's for sure. 🙏 rest waiting for the DNA report to come out. 🙏🤗

Try to avoid going on bikes. You can still go if you want to in your car. Cars provide you with safety to some extent. 🙏

Bilkul Bhai ....... during my recent ride to Munsiyari I travelled a lot during night in Lohaghat Pithoragarh area, but only after confirming from the locals that area is not tiger zone. Raat m pahado m riding k apna alag h adventure hai....dar aur Mazza dono bharpur.

Sir generally wild animals do not attack humans n also the knowledgeable ppl says if tiger or other animals try to attacks you then you should shout loudly so my concern is if any person on bike or in car so already bike n car has more enegine sound so how they attack humans during riding on a bike or in car.

You are right generally animals are scared of loud noises but during this particular attack, the riders slowed their speed when they approached the curve where the incident happened. Due to slowing down the noise must have also been reduced. Tiger was sitting in the bushes in an ambush position & pounced at them when they slowed the speed of the bike.

How do a tiger become man eater..from past 100 days we also have a tiger venturing in our nearby villages but it only killed several cattle not human. It is observing us from bushes but it dont look us a food

There are many reasons for a tiger turning into a man-eater. Old age Canines are damaged Injury or wounded Low prey base in the area These are the main reasons. The one in your village is a cattle lifter, not a man-eater. The prey base must be low in your area? Tigers generally attack domestic cattle when they don't find anything to eat.

@@ONEMILEATATIME02There is no wild Prey base all are paddy fields and small hills plenty of palm plantations. Forest is 200 km away and that to is not a tiger zone.they say This tiger walked 300 km in search of mate. Forest guys tryimg to send it back from same place where it came

My friend, it is impossible to radio collar all the tigers in the park. Ok, I will explain to you in detail. So when we radio collar any carnivore firstly we have to sedate him/her with a sedation mixture known as a ketamine-Xylazine mixture. This is given to the animal based on his/her body weight. Now by just looking at the animal, we have to guess its weight. This is the most crucial part. If we guess its weight wrong & give the animal more than the required dose then it can die. In Sariska, we have done this & we have lost tigers due to the over-excessiveness of the mixture. The National Tiger Conservation Authority has issued a direct order that no animals will be tranquilized for a radio collar experiment. Secondly, if we collar them then there would be no fun in tracking the animal during safari excursions. I hope you understand now. 🙏 I would love to answer your doubts. Regarding the tiger's behavior, a constant check is kept by the front-line staff of the department. We have surveillance cameras installed in Corbett which covers almost most of the park. High-end techniques have been used in the conservation of the tiger & other co-predators. 🙏

@@ONEMILEATATIME02 thank you for elucidating on tranquilising process. I agree that with radio collars the fun factor will be less. But in Gir national park we have radio collared several lions and it has helped a lot. But I get it, with tigers it's different because of their solitary nature and the dense terrain of Jim Corbett, putting radio collars will be a tough feat plus it's expensive as well. Hope we can find more solutions to minimise man-animal conflict.

Very well said brother people are believing anything & everything wrong. Not every tiger is a man-eater. Why aren't people talking based on facts? The situation is tense & the department is trying its best to capture the animal. The vets are there to tranquilize the animal. There's a lot of pressure from the villagers. The tiger has been seen near the highway. Let's hope that they catch him soon. We all are shocked by the way he/she is attacking bikers & cargoers. I think ye tiger mentally ill bhi ho sakta hai. I means tigers me bhi stress and Anxiety ho jati hai, ho sakta hai that is why he is behaving like this n killing humans one after other. Bcz animals hai waha for him to eat, he is not starving then why has it become an obsession for him to kill humans. Wo bhi he is becoming very daring tez bike pe attack, chalti car k upar chadhna n all it doesn't look normal. Ek do bar ho jata h, but iska to hobby ban gya humans pe attack krna. Ye tiger ne four wheeler pe bhi attack kiya ye bada ajeeb hai kahi ye engine ki awaaz ya gadi ki lights se to agressive nahi ho jata kuch ajeeb lag raha hai.maine kuch time pehle ek video dekha tha jisme ek lion ko dono aankho me cataract ho gaya tha to wo thik se shikar nahi kar pa raha tha jo shikar karta wo bhi awaaz ko follow karke karta tha.
