On a similar note, not quite a copyright strike, but I got an email this morning from KZread telling me they yanked one of my very own shorts made from one of my very own longer videos shot on my porch with my own phone, dogs barking in the background and all! I have never sampled anyone. They said they “automatically remove all Shorts that have remixed any video from the original source. As a result of this policy, your KZread Short titled “ ” has been removed from KZread because the content owner restricted their remixing permissions”. Odd because I AM the content owner. The original content owner. My original longer content is still there, which was uploaded 6 months ago. I am upset because someone got away with such a blatant false claim and KZread fell for it. Don’t let this happen to you.

Yea, exactly I was jus think the same thing. Also I watched his latest video where he says he is leaving the VidIQ channel, lol I was like it seam's its time to unsubscribe. Because the VidIQ channel is him, sure there are few other good guys there but he literally uses every opportunity to create content and help us in any way possible. So without him it just wouldn't be the same!

I got this notification and almost had a heart attack cause the only thing showing was COPYRIGHT STRIKE

This didn’t happen to me but lots of fall guys KZreadrs got strikes just because the NFL played fall guys in a live stream once.

My friend got terminated. Haha, I told him but did not listen. He quit KZread a long time ago. I'm still going almost 7 years 👽

@@4cuttime he was purposefully steeling content to get big views and subs. I warned him but he refused me. Also he did not have good enough passion, he did it for money even if he did not get terminated, he would still quit, I know it :) KZread is super hard even for a person who really likes it, so if you don't have a passion for the work, eventually it will end somewhere somehow ✌️ good luck to you man!

KZread is tuff as a person who likes doing the job too so if you do it for money only it's pretty impossible to keep going, it will get mentally super hard and you have to give up because why do it. There is something like that that Steve jobs says, it's cool. Check out his speech, very motivating.

My last video got partially restricted unfortunately... KZread can be such a hassle sometimes.

Whoever is reading DONT give up on your channel. Think about all the hard work that you have already put in. Every youtuber was once in your spot they just kept going. Stay consistent and you will reach your goals. consistent uploads and improvement and some determination is all you need! I am going for 275 subs by the end of November!!!

This happened to me last year, I was using music from Canva at the time and I didn’t know that if you use their non copyrighted music more than once that I would get a copyright strike.

I usually use Google images that say "Image may be subject to copyright" an KZread has never given me a strike or said it in the copyright check in the video, does this mean I should be able to just keep on doing this?

Thankfully I've never received a copyright strike, but oddly I received a copyright claim for using 15 seconds of music available in the shorts music library, another thing which might be worth noting is the video had not even been published yet, I didn't feel like hassling with trying to resolve this hence deleted the video waited for a bit then reuploaded the video using my usual copyright free options. I'm a bit skeptical of using shorts music options after this experience, but I appreciate this info in the event of a strike which I hope to never receive as I'm trying to follow the rules as closely as possible, thanks Rob I hope you're enjoying your time away ❤️✨

Hello - is it 3 strikes in total? Or just 3 concurrent/oberlapping strikes at the same time?

If you have 2 copyright strikes and you wait till the day to expire and after you have another copyright , is counting like one copyright or 3 ?

If you make edits like me, here’s a tutorial on how not to get copyrighted. So you might know on the bottom right corner, there is a square shaped button which will either show you and audio, or it will say “original sound” both are okay, now click on the square and check if it says, use this audio. If it does, you’re good to go. Now screen record your audio, create the edit and after you finish, take out the audio. This will only work if you haven’t changed the audio in the video you made (please note) if you add fade in or fade out, or you cut out a part of the audio this will not work. Now since you haven’t changed the audio in screen recording before you muted it, it should still be on beat. Export, go back to KZread and press “use this audio” add you clip and that’s it. (If your a bit lazy one day, just add background music (don’t mute and should still be heard))

You know what, I've seen so much people who use other content such as music, and voice over animal, some people converted an official song to 8D, some put a lyrics, etc, yet they active nearly everyday without getting copyright strike, how is that possible?

Eish! Those Copyright strikes & claims are unnerving. So I had a video that I reported using my content 100% and reported it. It was taken down and the other channel got a Copyright Strike. He sent me a message saying he was sorry and will never do it again , but he is asking if I can remove the Copyright Strike. Can I do that ? On one of the 1st videos I created I got a freaking copyright strike and it's just a video game trailer playing with me talking over it plus every one plays that intro trailer in everybody's gameplay of that and the problem is that someone striked me who isnt even the creator of the game, it's just a random dude. those people are literally the plague in KZread. I can accept if I get claimed from one of the networks from some tv or movie clips I used because they're reasonable but the fact that someone who's the one who doesnt even have rights on that public domain intro video makes an action that is worse than the one who claims legally is a bummer.
