Hello. We were in your shop just the other day. The issue we have is that we can get the designs from computer to Ellisimo (or Brother 2800), but the colors don't match. We have put in the custom color chart in both machines, we have carefully saved the color palette in PHC and PES files. So the display of the Ellisimo I guess just shows us the machines closest match to the color defined by the file. We always have to print the template and color chart from our software. It would be nice if the machine just told us the proper color. We do love your vids - thanks for doing this. Had a great time in your store, stayed until way past closing time.

I want to practice embroidery. I purchased the PED-Basic writer. I purchased a couple of appliques online. I downloaded them. Now, I'm lost. I can't send the appliques to the writer so I can put them on the blank card so I can start the embroidery process. I can't get them in .pes format. What am I doing wrong?

I have a Husqvarna Viking Designer I™ USB sewing machine and I cannot seem to get a design from my embroidery software into my sewing machine. I saved the design as a .hus file (saved on a separate folder) on the flash drive that came with the sewing machine but the folder and file are not seen by the sewing machine... What am I doing wrong? I did notice that all the rest of the embroidery files were in a .bin file format, should I somehow place the design in a .bin format? Thank you.

what machine do you have carol?

I have inherited a Babylock Ellure, not the plus, so I have been downloading designs to a folder on my computer so that I may copy a design to a RW card. If I wanted to save these designs to a CD or DVD for that 'just in case' my computer crashes, will it be the same as with the usb ? love your video..

more or less. you just have to hit "burn to disc" once you copy everything to the cd

1. When you say you change the format to a .jef are you just renaming the file or are you changing the format in some kind of embroidery program. Simply changing the file extension won't work you need software that converts it. 2. Most Janomes I am aware of require the files to be place in a specific folder on the USB drive. I'm no means an expert though since I'm a Babylock dealer only. Good luck!

I have a question do you know how to take embroidery designs from an old Miestergram machine that are on a 31/2 inch floppy disk. I have an external floppy disk drive and for some reason they are not reading on to my computer I need to convert them to a USB thumb drive I don't even know what format the old Miestergram takes. I have EMbrilliance digitizing software for embroidery that I can convert if i can only get it off the 31/2 inch disk, hope this makes sense thank you for your great instructional videos

@@EllicottCitySewVac Thank you for the quick reply, I have designs on the old floppy from an old one needle Meistergram 900XLC machine I wish I could get them to a thumb drive do you have any idea what format they might be. I have Embrilliance all modules and am really really new to this.

great video, I can't seem to get my designs to transfer. I buy my designs right from a webpage. I change the format to jef, rename them, then put them in an Embroidery folder, the from there I sort from Xmas, halloween, etc. I go into the halloween folder right click,, to copy then go to my flash drive and paste them. Remove the flash drive and insert it in the machine, I turn on the machine go and try to bring up the designs nothing is there. Thank, darlene

designs could be too big for machine, or wrong format

They may be zipped and you need to unzip using a program like Winzip, Winrar, 7zip, etc.

ok, I need your help, I download a pattern fro free design says its downloaded so I click on folder in my embrodery folder when I click to open it it just keeps downloading and doesn't stop looks like duplicates

try using a different flash drive too if you have one. Does it show other designs and not that one?

Do you have to format the. USB device before using it?

you can choose to save in pes format with your 6d

might be under "export" under the file menu too, i don't know for sure cause I don't have the software but I do know it's definitely possible

It doesn't work with folders with the Brother 770. I have to rename my files like A1.pes...A2.pes etc. If you know a better way, let me know

Ellisimo with Designer's Gallery Studio 111 software. Stik says design is there but machine does't see it hmmmm

what size is the design, and did you make sure its pes format? if you cant get it to work bring me the stick with the design on it and i'll take a look.
