I have this in the morse. One of my favourite carries. Beautiful work.

Great looking material..... a level up from just ladder damascus . Next thing to try a mix of steel (for the core) , titanium and pure nickel or copper as a binding layer. Once the laminate is made into a blade you could heat color the titanium. The core steel needs to be a steel that does not loose its hardness up to 900°f. (like 1.2360). It works...but its difficult and labour intensive.
