This was a great and informative video! My question is, how soon after doing a peel can I use copper peptides? I just performed a peel using 2 layers of Jessner, 2 layers of TCA, (did red/nir light therapy after applying green tea toner), and then the dream peel. TIA! I love y’all’s products!

You can apply a few drops of Copper (or any other non-acid active) immediately after rinsing the peels off. Your skin will accept these special treatments very well at this time. **Tomorrow.. or the next day when the skin tightens and get's more stiff .. then nothing is penetrating so save your peptides until the skin is completed with the flaking process.

Great video! Can you used these for body scars? I have a scar on my leg from a childhood bike accident and a couple of chicken pox scars. Also, I have dark skin. Or should I continue using PSC's TCA 20% peels on my legs to help reduce the look of scarring?

We ship worldwide, yes. Dr, Pickart has a nice blend of copper and minoxidil that can be used daily. We don't carry that... folligen I believe its called. You can just mix the copper into some OTC minoxidil though.

Most like to do copper in the evenings. C during the day. If you have the copper serums, products are applied in this order. Thin to thick. Serums then creams then oils.

Do you have any success with keloids? I have Dr. Pickarts book and according to him, it can be used in keloids. I started putting the niod one, I noticed the color of the keloid getting lighter.

SuperCop 2x is generally the ONLY thing I will recommend for a keloid -- other than silicone sheets/gel.

OK - first thing is the elephant in the room... the 'copper uglies'. I was so convinced about the dangers, (there is a real process whereby copper breaks down proteins/ collagen - but it was all done in cultures and not on skin in-vevo) but I have not seen a hint of the uglies on my sensitive, pale, crepey, ginger skin. And I'm using the SuperCop 2X as well as the 7%GHK accelerant. Now, I'm only three weeks in on this (and I have been using NIOD copper for two years prior, so I have some tolerance), but I think 'copper uglies' may be overrated. All I see is tighter eye area and firmer skin. It can irritate at high strengths (the two products tingle, especially on the neck), but the biggest concern I have is wasting my products, after all - your skin only needs so much copper.

Dr. Pickart is THE person that has done all the testing, studies and work on the copper (1979 he discovered the skin regenerating copper) ions. 2+ for the 2nd generation and the GHK. I cannot remember exactly WHERE he spoke about the "NIOD" .. but he had a very negative reaction that it was not a proper product and there was no such thing. So, the use of that product would not have prepared your skin for the true copper usage - but you are correct. The only people that generally suffer from the "uglies" are those that are OVERUSING the copper. Copper first breaks down damaged proteins and then stimulates the body to Regenerate NEW ones. There is a time gap there and if you are too aggressive on your breaking down - the skin doesn't have a chance to catch up yet. It is temporary and will balance out in a few weeks. Dr. Pickart always suggests only a few drops a few times a week and to work UP from there. As long as that is followed there are only positive outcomes. :)

You CAN use it with retinol. You can NOT use it with RetinA (tretinoin). If you are using retinA you will apply that at night and your GHK during the day.

Hello. The 2nd generation (CP Serum, Super Serum or Super Cop 2x) can go on right next to any acids *including retinA. It is only the GHK coppers that are fragile and should be applied at different times.

You can apply Fade Bright first on freshly cleansed skin. CP Serum should be applied 1 x per day in the evening. I recommend applying your Fade Bright first and then mixing 3 drops of CP Serum with your evening moisturizer or Emu Oil.

Hello. You will want to wait at least 1 week before you start applying a product like Super Cop 2x. It can be irritating when you have Not done a peel. :) Most will fill in the depressions with the copper and wipe any excess off. Then apply your normal products all over. Copper at PM is easiest ... as it is very blue. Penetrating ingredients like emu oil are great to put on top.

I use tretinion and want to include super cop 2x. Can I use both same night. If yes which one goes first and do I need wait for sometime between these two?

With Emu oil! Emu oil has been shown to help awaken dormant hair follicles. I would combine some of the copper with the emu oil and apply an overnight scalp treatment a few times per week.

DMSO is a penetration enhancer. The potential could be for the copper being irritating. I must say we have not experienced this on our end. As always ... we suggest ALL new copper users to start slow. Begin with a few days a week and add on as your skin acclimates.

@@IntegrativeHealthWellness Ah, yes. Vitamin C for the day time and copper in the evenings. I would also highly recommend the Fade Bright 2x per day prior to either product being applied. It is a melanin inhibitor and will help to slow down the production in your skin.... and never forget the SPF of 50 when you are dealing with pigmentation or the sun's UV rays will keep damaging your skin.

It wasn't like that when I received it. I stored it in a great place along with my other products. HolisticLiving ah yes. Copper doesn’t smell good. Dr. Pickart adds a scent to the formula - but that wears off after a time. It is not bad. Same thing with the coloring. It will get darker - but will be good for about 3 years. You could add a drop of essential oil to the blend to make it smell good again if you wish.

Try to add on a retinoid for your evenings like the Fusion A .15. 3-7x per week. This would be Very helpful for any age targeting. I suggest the Super CP Serum and then add your moisturizer on top. Most like to use the coppers in the evening. C during day and Copper at night. Don't apply them together. :)

Crepey Skin Escape has DMSO in it. He has another version withOUT the DMSO... that he recommends for the face. We ONLY carry the Crepey skin escape and feel it is just fine either for the body or face. Do NOT mix GHK with any acids or Zinc directly. The GHK is a fragile copper. Choose the 2nd generation if you want to apply at the same time as an acid. That is CP Serum, Super CP Serum or Super Cop 2x.

The copper is by Dr. Pickart. He is THE originator/patentor of the copper peptides. :) It comes from chelated soy proteins.

I would go straight to the TCA peels for 11's. I suggest TCA 20 as a spot treatment at 1-2 layers. TCA will help to stimulate collagen production in the skin. Then, Super CP Serum or SuperCop 2x are both great options.

Melanie everything is helpful. Anything that stimulates collage is perfect. That is vitamin A, Tca, vitamin C, I believe copper does as well. .... those will all help. Your serum 15 will exfoliate as well. I would do your Tca peel *couple extra layers in the lines themselves. Then use the copper every day.

I recommend the CP Serum for your skin. I suggest applying 2-3 drops of CP Serum to your nightly moisturizer. Emu Oil is a great moisturizer and it is also transdermal and will help carry the copper deeper into the skin.

Yes you certainly could. ... as long as there are no acids in the cream/serum as GHK will become damaged if there is acid present. There is a chart here to mix into another cream/serum to make a bottle (1oz or 2oz. ... ) and then you choose how strong you want your GHK to be: www.platinumskincare.com/7-ghk-cu-accelerant/ If you want to make this super simple... yes, I would say you can mix a few drops into your dollup of cream/serum and then apply daily.

I like to add GHK to products that aid in penetration. Our Nano Hyaluronic can do that as can our Retinol serums. Another great option would be the pure Emu oil *as it too is transdermal. There are many other options - serums I feel are the easiest. Regenerate EGF is another great one.

You sure could. The ONLY issue would be that it "could" be potentially irritating on that freshly peeled skin. The SuperCop 2x can be itchy or irritating/tingly for awhile after application. So, if you are irritated, just rinse it off and try again in a few days. The product itself is nothing to worrry about.

Super Cop 2x is quite irritating on its own. It can cause tingling or itching within 15 minutes of application. SO ... I suggest to use this when you have not just done a peel, as that can make your skin more sensitive. Just apply your healing oils. When your skin is done flaking - then you can use a few drops of 2x at night *right before bed so you can sleep through any irritation. :) I suggest just dabbing this where needed. The Super CP Serum would be a better option for allover care.

Dr. Pickart gives a 2 year shelf life. I would estimate that using a few drops of that bottle every day will last you many months.

Yes you can! Just use it about 3x per week - as it can be irritating. So work up slowly, and stop use for a few days if your skin becomes irritated.

Copper is a tissue regenerator. It helps to "flush out" the damaged tissues and the stimulates your body to produce New ones. Less is more though! Don't be overly aggressive. A few drops 1x per day.

I am sorry but those seem to be two favorite additives of Dr. Pickarts with the skin-remodeling peptides. Is there a reason you are wanting to avoid aloe? Do not add GHK-7 to Vitamin C products. Do not add GHK-7 to, or apply it at the same exact time as hydroxy acids. *Use the second generation copper if you need to do that. CP Serum, Super CP Serum or SuperCop 2x, or simply apply them at different times of day. Do not add GHK-7 to VIP Lux Eye Cream. Do not add GHK-7 into Zinc SPF creams.

No it won't make new hair grow on the face. Copper can be used with other ingredients to help stimulate dormant follicles .. but it won't make new hairs just sprout up. :)

@@tiptoptelugus5801 Ok, ... well it's true that copper is best for scar regeneration. If this is a small scar I would just use a Qtip and dab it on the scar only and never worry about it. Other things that can help scars and firming are doing peels. The TCA 13 would be an excellent option as it has been proven to stimulate collagen and elastin in the skin. Retinol is another excellent choice. There are also great peptides like the Citrustem and SynTC (I like to mix both in our Dr. Platinum Potions 2-combo) that can be used daily to encourage collagen and elastin in the skin.

Hi, I just had my first microneedling treatment done at a dermatologist office for some shallow "boxcar acne scars" on both sides of my cheeks and a little bit on my forehead, it's been 7 days now into my skin healing process, Would the Super cop 2x copper peptides still work to help remodel the scars even after the 7 days of healing of my skin has already passed from my microneedling treatment...? Super Cop 2x is an excellent skin remodeling cream, however copper should only be applied to skin that is "healed and sealed". Super Cop 2x can cause irritation so you do not want to put it on skin that is still peeling or flaking. Yes, the copper will still be very helpful post needling. It certainly does not need to be applied within 7 days to "work". Use it nightly in between your monthly peels after your skin is healed from the previous peel.

Today would be day 7, so since my skin is healed and back to normal can i now use the super cop 2x and it being effective..?? And you said to continue to use it nightly? I don’t have the supercop2x but I DO have the Super CP Serum that you said is a 8/28. Can I use the CP I have on my scars? Will it help regenerate skin or harm it? Also, when is it safe to use? Now? Or should I wait longer. Please, please help me. I really am afraid it’s going to heal all messed up and make my face worse. Post treatment looks really rough right now.

@@YoungKay213 Yes, you can start using the copper at this point. *2x can be irritating... so expect this and cut back when it happens. Stop for a few days and then start back up for a few days once any irritation is gone. Emu oil on top can help. Just apply a smear of the 2x and wipe off any extra. I like to "tap" it INTO the scar and then wipe any extra away. Not even a drop. :)

Rose Sadler I’ve done lots of research and I had to move copper peptides in the morning. The peptide will not survive the acid of tretinoin.

@@Rose_Sadler Well.. I am not sure where you heard that one? The second generation copper: CP Serum, Super CP Serum and SuperCop 2x can all be applied right alongside the acids *including retinA. ONLY the GHK are fragile and can't be used at the same time as acids.

Yes... Dr. Picart was closed due to COVID for almost 3 months. Our stock was depleted and we are waiting for him to catch up and get our orders to us. We apologize but this pandemic really caused some logistical issues for many manufacturers.

Hello. GHK is the original copper patented in 1973 by Dr. Pickart when he was at ProCyte. He founded that company. Then he created Skin Biology. *We only carry Dr. Pickart's coppers*. He then created the 2nd generation because GHK was so fragile and could not be applied alongside products like acids (retinA and alpha hydroxy). We recommend the GHK for those with sensitive, aging skin. Everyone else we recommend the 2nd generation.
