Its their way of pretending they are men with a dangerous job, so they try to imitate the military as much as possible so long as they actually face no danger. OSHA lists show that a school crossing guard has a better chance of being killed while working that a cop in the U.S. does.

I’m a certified public accountant and I can tell you it cost a lot more than that once you consider their healthcare they they got their pensions their vacation. They’re paid time off depreciation on those expensive cars and all the assets that are in them.

All governments are corporations for profit. municipality A political unit, such as a city, town, or village, incorporated for local self-government. A body of officials appointed to manage the affairs of a local political unit. A municipal district; a borough, city, or incorporated town or village.
