Interesting comparison, thought they'd be close. Is yours just over-braked? Sounds like it would definitely be faster otherwise. I have the supercharged version with the same power as the R56, but nowhere near the torque of these, would love to try the diesel though!

We can do a swap one day, would like to test a race version, the chassis is so good. The pads are way too much at the front and the ABS just shits itself.

That sounds great, would definitely take you up on that! Always wanted to drive one of your diesels since I did TDC in 2019. You'd love the R53, you've got to work it a bit more to get the lap time, but it's great fun. Reckon yours would be a right weapon if you could sort the brakes out.

I think we just need a less aggressive pad, it was better before.

Wow one can see the size difference between a F56 and R56, I once showed guys the size different between a R50/2 and a R56 at a meet once and they couldn’t believe how much bigger the R56 was now it looks tiny compared to F56, and a F56 looks small against a older Countryman

Tbf the r50 and r56 chassis is pretty much the same, they are just a bit chubbier.

Why are the harnesses crossed over in there’s bit dangerous ?

Why did Wayne two person your car when you were on your own driving his? OK know it probably makes sod all difference really but he was carrying the extra weight in your car. Do you think if he went out on his own his time would have been closer to your time in his car?

I hate to say it but the Cooper SD actually sounded better. This is an absolute outrage and I'll be writing a strongly worded letter to my MP😂 But in all seriousness, the SD goes a lot better than expected, I think it was hard to tell in the older videos about it because it wasn't put up against a similar power/weight car. The torque out of the corners is where this thing wins every time, it seems to hook up and go!

Well what wins is that the Diesel is able to go several laps more before having to re-fuel 👌

Diesel for the winmm, all day with diesel
