Nope. Maybe as far as the pop charts he’s a 1 hit wonder but he has multiple songs that did well on the rap charts

This song compliments the opening credits of Eddie so well, paired with the footage of NYC at night. RIP Coolio.
This will always be my all time favorite Coolio song. R.I.P. to the legend. Thank you Coolio for being one of the first rappers I heard as a kid, for helping change hip-hop, and lighting up my childhood with this underrated classic.
RIP Coolio will miss you and thanks for giving love to Lakeside with this cut and with Fantastic Voyage. Your greatness also includes recognizing greatness in others.

The entire album of it takes a theif and gangstas paradise bring back so many memories...great albums. I can't believe they didn't blow up. Better than many rappers back then.

I loved the movie, and really dug the soundtrack, so when the credits were playing I froze on the track list. My head exploded when I saw it was Coolio doing that opening/closing song. If my local venue ever gets out of quarantine so we can have karaoke again, I am gonna learn this song!

Eddie! One of my favorite movies as a kid! I usually did a double with that and Space Jam! Both had killer soundtracks too! Edit - Is that actually the band Lakeside in the video? They did the original "It's All The Way Live" and the original "Fantastic Voyage" which was also the first big hit for Coolio

I just randomly thought about this song recently, pretty much out of nowhere. It lives in a time, where movie soundtracks were huge, but sadly they're a lost art now, and in cases like this the soundtrack actually surpasses the movie. Not very many people saw Eddie and it wasn't held in high regard, but this song was all over MTV. Movie soundtracks are a lost art
