RIP Coolio. I am Cuban, and I remember our parties were modest with very few resources, but with your music, we felt free, happy, and without deficiencies, as you were at your best. There was no Internet or Satellite TV in Cuba, but somehow your music came to cheer up all the Cuban parties in the 90s!

Nickelodeon's first famous TV show had chain smoking parents that abused their kids. And it was a comedy. It was the MTV of today. And the MTV then was for adults. News shows, sex, drugs, and nearly R-rated music videos. Kinda like the "Adult Swim" of today. Both networks shifted younger over time.
