My only complaint is I wish they had high resolution back in 1995 lol. I come back to this video/performance once or twice every few months, it’s amazing the triet Coolie, LV and Stevie Wonder do.

Back when people acknowledged who inspired their words and collaborated in a beautiful way. I was born 5 years too late

As someone else here said, this is THE rendition of Gangsta's Paradise. The bombast in Coolio's verses. He sounds more aggressive and passionate than ever. The chorus sung soulfully by LV. The live strings. The backing vocals of the choir. And last but certainly not least, the OG himself, Stevie Freakin' Wonder. A career that by this point had spanned over twenty years, and has now spanned over fifty. The way he and LV traded lines and harmonized here was brilliant. Man is a goddamn legend.

Im from Turkey. I can't imagine my people bullying others cuz of their skin color, race. And i really can't understand racism. But seeing black and white kids in the background singing and playing intruments together makes me emotional. World was a better place 30 years ago

It really wasn't better 30 years ago, probably was a lot worse (Rodney King for example). Racism has been going on for a very long time, it just seems like a recent phenomenon because it's easier now than ever to record and share it with phones and the internet. Lots of people just have rose colored glasses when looking in the past.
