I've been working on those damn triplet and roll things for 20 years... (come from classical background) this is the first time I've seen anyone actually teach it as if I were in a private lesson... thanks

Thank you, you are a woderful violinist. Very sweet sounding instrument. I have never seen an 8 string violin.I ve seen hardanger fiddles with under drones, but never side to side 8 string in the same plane. NOW I HAVE. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR EXPERTISE!

5 strings? As Viola CGDAE ? Or in reverse order? EADGC ? What of the left handed slope of the fingerboard,bridge and bus bR under the lowest pitched strings and the peg box. ?

Yes! Well I like to think they added the E string since it's a viola sized fiddle. I have to put a thicker e string on it so it doesn't break with the extra tension from the 15.5" scale length. A standard fiddle is a 14" scale length

Yes .jut string a fiddle as a viola as my 1/4 size cello is same tuning as my 4/4 cello. Handier for the bus/,train. 😊
