It's nice to see Soundstream put out an amp that's able to put out what it's rated at. I'd be interested to see how their TXP4.3500D does in a test. You did an awesome job on the video, it's great to see the amp's performance as well as both the inside and the outside from as many angles as possible. Thanks!

Man I love all your videos you are completely neutral on judging the amp whether it's a cheap or expensive the Dyno speaks for itself .

It’s always good to see amplifiers put as much interest in quality as much as they do with looks

Entertaining as usual. You seem to have upped the enthusiasm! Real nice. I literally laughed out loud LEDeez-nuts.

I appreciate these vidoes Derek. It did well on most of those tests on the amp. I was happy with that it did most of its rated power. It did well in my book considering who made the amp.

Watching the footprint change on the high power amps since the early 90s blows my mind. My first amp was a Orion 2100 hcca, it was huge....

I love the looks of these amps I am probably going to get one. Space saver decent power looks awesome

Not bad for the money. You’re right, they do look really cool. It’s nice to see retro modern designs, this was pulled off well.

oi3 Vehicle not running will run @ 12v. Vehicle running will provide 14v. That’s why BOTH ratings are provided. Get the amp that makes the most power for a sub. 2 channel or 1 channel is fine as long as it has enough power. The 2 channel amps are bridgeable to one channel.

Just bought this amp today based on your video. Only running it at 2 ohms with 2 Ct sounds 10’s. Sounds great. Gonna be upgrading the electrical soon to feed it a little more juice. Thanks for the video.

In 2001 - I had two Rubicon 302s and always wanted a 1002. Bought one that was new old stock a few years ago. These were so good. Expensive but good.

I love all your amp dynos they help me so much. I purchased an amp.based on your review and it was great until I spent some months using it and its performance degraded fast. I'd like to see videos of you using these see amp in a real car under real time performance like stock alternator with stock wiring no big 3 and see if they perform the same. again 5 star for testing and info. ps: your videos are awesome huge fan. iv watched easily 90% of your videos when I have time

I'd love to see the 4 channel tested, personally. That level of power in a small form factor and price tag would be ideal for a lot of people.

That amp does look good. Would love to see the 4 channel get reviewed, but also do a subjective listening test to let us know if it's really viable to run midranges and tweeter or if the amp sound is a bit harsh on the top end. I'm looking for really good resolution and details and I'd take some warmth as well :)

Nice power in a small package. This amp might be on my to buy list.

I got one on the way for my 2 sundown sa 12s. Cant wait to try it out. Edit: 2 years later and its still going strong. It pushes my sa 12s to the limit and sounds pretty clean. Its not a sq amp by far but well worth the 160 bucks I payed. Mine is fed using 1o cable power and ground on a stock 140 amp alternator and a napa gold agm battery.

@popspowell4981 nope but from no fault of the amp. I lifted my back seat and it snapped the terminals in half because the cable was caught on a bolt. Ive already bought and installed a 2nd one and its going great. It snapped because the terminals are like 4 guage so you need a pair of offset metal adapters to run 0 guage.

I would love to see you test the 4 channel version. It’s crazy how small these amplifiers are getting and still making big power. I’ve got an old school reference 405 sitting in my closet that I’ve been thinking about bringing out of retirement, but it’s literally 4xs the size of these amps. I’m sure the quality isn’t what it was back in the day, but it also wasn’t a cheap amp back then either.

Wish I could get an amp dyno to expose the crazy ratings on amplifier we have in SA (24000 watts) 😳. Any chance you will test the DD DM2500? Love to see the rating on this amp. Would love to see the four channel. I'm hard core old school when it comes to amps. But I really like the look of these, they might just end up in the ladies car.

Looks like amp manufacturers are finally getting the point and reach of KZread content providers like our boy! Keeping them honest and look at Sounstream... getting away from shady marketing lies on ratings... big boon to their once coveted reputation. 👍🏽

I would really like to see the 4 channel tested. With the way this one looks and performs I can see myself running 2 4 channels, 1 for my mids and highs, and the other in 3 channel mode(if it has it) for midbasses in stereo and bridged to a sub

Hate to be this guy, but I'm looking for advice.... going to be running four black brick great 8s (250 rms @2ohm) but I also swap 8s out for other brands when sales arise. Per your dyno vids, im actually running audio legion gladiator 8s on an leigesaudio 500 mono. This new setup should suffice, unless I'm missing something?

Dude I'm impressed. Always loved soundstream. Hopefully they stay on this track. The price point is quite reasonable for the power. Might roll.the dice on the 4 channel and this for my new ride. Footprint is a big plus also

Big D! Nice find. What was the size of the 2 openings under the plastic? I was thinking about what size fans would fit in that space. I have a bunch of ARGB LED strips ( from SB AE-5 soundcard ) that would look pretty nice inside there.
