phone coolers is a good idea while using it on a car , on hot days while charging and using car play for the gps and audio , it can get very hot if the car tray dont have any ventilation , and this is one of the reasons I prefer to put it in a support in front of the AC vent
Juet bought a TD500 V2 and I'm really happy with it. Cooler Master makes some great products.
I honestly enjoy the "giga aquarium fishbowl" approach, it reduces the visual weight by a lot, the modular panels are something i didnt expect, having the mesh panel at the front while glass on both sides provides a decent amount of the see through effect without affecting performance.
That 612 air cooler has a really nice aesthetic I like it!
That's hilarious, I've actually been using an NR200 together with a Strix 4090, I've had to modify both heavily to make them fit together but it's kind of hilarious to see CoolerMaster make it a first party thing. Mine still looks stock on the outside though, I've had to cut the front faceplate and remove the extra plastic on the strix to make it fit but it juuuuust goes in there. This is not a bad "no-mod" approach and looks kinda cool.
interesting cases, cooler master gas always deserved a look at when building due to great valve options and interesting top end case
10:15 I actually made a prototype for this case in paint 3 yrs ago. Mine had added thickness for a 240mm rad. The added thickness would also let run the 12vhpwr up to the gpu without having to bother too much with thickness constraints. The gpu display area in my prototype had 2 mesh panels (1 in front of the gpu and 1 behind with the sides and top being glass
Some nice cases there. For that AIO's VRM fan, might as well just grab the Cooler Master Atmos then, as there are 3D printable badges that let you install larger more functional fans for cooling the VRM. Pretty sure it will be the same pump.
5:15 at the Computex, straight jorking it
I really hope that Coolermaster listen to you in regards of the pogo pin connection for the RGB on the front panel. Removing the front panel can be hard at time and when you are cleaning your PC often, the risk of damages increases. Also, in my opinion, there are no need to have the Sleep, work, game gimmick. If CM wants it, make it an option. I would be interested in both Ncore and Masterbox 500 Mesh depending on reviews. The Masterbox 500 is more or less what I'm looking for but all depend on the Airflow and storage device capacity therefore I would also consider the Ncore. I would love to see a new case with the same top design as the Mastercase Pro 5 . My cat love to lie on the top of my case when I am away from my desk. The removable top cover, provides a bit of space for the hot air to exhaust during that time. If CM releases the same case after fixing the design flaw for the tempered glass panel (Gaps between the glass and the top front panel) , and add an updated front IO with USB C, then I'll probable buy it. Fun fact Steve. CM was the reason why I found and followed your channel. There was a lot of hype before the H500P was released and this case looked very interesting (I would say good job to CM marketing team at the time). I, like everybody should, wanted to see some reviews first before considering buying it. Of course the thumbnail had Snowflake in it so how could anyone click on any of the other videos first. The appearance of Snowflake in the start of the video and the constructive review of this case made me click that subscribe button. urrently looking a
Steve looks absolutely thrilled to be on case/cooler duty.
The air cooler looks like it takes standard 120mm fans but has a fancy metal enclosure for them, which is good to see. The more companies adapt this form of improving aesthetics without compromising serviceability the better. Also nice ICP reference art 15:13 lol

I love the modular design of the GPU display case. I really hope they bring it to market. I'd also like to see a version where the GPU is shrouded and not on full display.
That NR200 with the cutout for the GPU looks sick. If they do mass-prod those I'm defo buying one.

that first concept case is really sick
Still have my TD500 - the only thing that bugged me as you mentioned in your review at the time was the mounting holes for two more SSD's but they never included the grommets or pegs for that. They then released a Version 2 - rather than include the additional screws and grommets they removed the mounting support entirely. Really smart! 😂
Always love that Cooler Master brings the funky tech to Computex.
G'day Steve, CoolerMaster has always been popular for affordable cooling down (at least my go to) here in Australia, nearly all my AIOs, fans & PSUs are CoolerMaster as they are good quality, relatively quiet & priced well, as an example currently along with DeepCool the 2 cheapest "Recognised Name" AIO brands quite often under $100AUD for 240mm while ASSTek based models above $150AUD some like Corsair & NZXT even above $200AUD for 240mm. Besides this another reason I love CoolerMaster AIOs is you can Mod them quite easily like the one I have in my Overkill XP PC that is now a ML240mm + 120mm cooling i7-2700K & GTX780Ti (with EKWB), a Seidon 120mm converted to 92mm + Clear Tubing in a Retro HP Pavilion M-ATX for C2Q9650 @ 4GHz & a Nepton 280mm with no radiator to run Ice water direct from my Esky on my i7-3770K testbench. I have a few of their older cases for Retro PCs including a N300 KKN2 + HAF LAN Box XB EVO but went off them as my go to (now DeepCool Smarter for ODD or Antec NX200 for ARGB) after as you found the Airflow & Build Quality dropped off in many designs.
4:36 bottom mid: at least they got my current life situation displayed in the right way. 😆
I like the "MeshBox 500" 4:48 , that's a nice case. I hope it'll be available in an all black, no rgb model as well. Actually, replace that glass side panel with a sound deadened solid panel and it'd be perfect.
Those first two cases were actually pretty dang cool. Don't think I would get one, but I definitely think they could have appeal.
I do like how CM cases look with gold trim on them
7:26 that's a good point because it's an indicator on weither or not the system is working... somewhat.
I do like the idea of showcasing the gpu like this. I mean yes, in regular cases, you can see the gpu but this completely focuses on it. It wonder if they will manufacture an adapter for 2 fan cards.
Love the open gpu itx concept. Its the most expensive piece in most builds might as well showcase it. Would open up more creative gpu diy
Love the MSI motherboard on that Asus collaboration case (the one with the Videocard on top) lol
I would love to see a review of that invertable gpu case
the modified nr200p reminded me off xikii ff04 and forfun02 pro case. very interesting
Nice to see more ITX options from these manufacturers but im curious , i see new mid tower atx cases but are there any new m-atx cases?

I always check the GPU fin-stack orientation before purchasing depending what case I'm using - case designers don't seem to take much notice of how a GPU's airflow is meant to work & probably just use the dimensions - "yeah they fit, it's fine" 🤔🤔
That ITX idea with an attachable GPU looks very interesting.
Those mini itx cases that display the whole gpu look great. Although dust accumulation on the card would be a pain in the ass probably
@BoraHorzaGobuchul
Ай бұрын
Vacuum-cleaner module you slap on your card - it immobilizes your card fans, and sucks the dust right out. Other fans that may be affected have to be immobilized by manually shoving long sticks through them :) Patent pending.
Please make more open PC cases. I'd like to see something where you have just a flat plate with a handle shaped like an inverted T so it can hold itself up where the frame is also the reservoir of your water loop with a CNC'ed bracket for PCIe components, and a 360mm rad mount with the option to install a 5.25" bay.
I love how you went and subtly disturbed the displays on the fan section by leaving the cooler on the side, the fan attachment on the table, etc.
ngl I like the idea of just slapping the GPU on top of the case. I honestly thought about this when the 30 series came out and were getting bigger and definitely with the 40 series. Engineered correctly, it could eliminate a lot of the worry of trying to fit a GPU in your current case and/or the case you want. The aquarium type case with swappable side panels is pretty dope. I'm sure people will come up with some really cool showcase builds in that.
Really like the gpu outside of the case. keeps a lot heat out and ensure perfect air supply go the gpu. I assume this will kill in cooling benchmarks.
