Cool Smoke Barbecue Rub I Tuffy Stone

The flavors in this rub are perfect for better barbecue, wether in your backyard or on the competition bbq circuit. It is great on pork, beef, chicken or anything that you want to put some spicy, sweet, savory flavor on. I like to freshly grind many of the spices in this recipe, to bring out the best flavor. You can make a larger batch and store for a long time in an airtight container that is left in a cool, dark place.

I have been into this grilling hobby for about 5 years. I have learned a lot on the road, and today I can say I had the best pork ribs I have ever had in my life which had this rub. And don’t get me wrong, you aren’t talking to a rookie no more, I have been into several international competitions and I’m pretty excited with this rub. Congratulations for this flavorful achievement and for sharing the specifics on KZread 🎉

Heck yeah, Tuffy. You're a celebrity in our household and me and wife love your new channel. You are my daughter's favorite BBQ celebrity. Anytime she sees you on a BBQ contest she hopes you win and when you're a judge she thinks whatever you say is the gospel. Lol.

@@TuffyStonePitmaster Yo, Tuffy. Thanks for commenting back and having a message for my daughter. When she got home from school I told her about what you said and she didn't believe me until I showed her. You made her day, BIG TIME!! After about 5 minutes of her ranting about you mentioning her she went to her room. Then came out a few minutes later and started ranting again and gave me a hug. I am positive your comment made more of an impact to her than if Santa had shown up at our door (she's 11). I'm sure this channel is going to blow up! Thanks again.

Thank you for sharing your rub recipe. The rub recipes I'd been using before were not quite what I wanted, but yours is exactly what I was looking for in a pork rub. I recently found your youtube channel and excited to try some of your other recipes you have generously posted for us backyard bbq cooks to use. Also, it's good to see you on camera again, please continue to post videos when you can. Thank you and blessings

Good work MR Tuffy. Looking forward to the smoked chili powder ingredients. Sure wish you guys would start up another BBQ competition show. We don’t want BBQ to fade away.

One of the best lessons so far. Think about it. You spend to buy expensive butts or brisket. Why use old spices.

You can also put in 4 teaspoons instead of one tablespoon plus one teaspoon. Or you could measure in grams and that would be simpler...
