Cool Fall Spy 007 / Trek battery drain issue SOLVED!

Ғылым және технология

I placed storage charge battery in my cool fall trek (3.7v) and place it on a shelf unused for about a month. When I went to use it a month layer, the cells were at 1.1v!! This hurts the cells!
So I asked in the official Cool Fall FB group and David said that you should always use the light even for a moment after removing and replacing the tail cap. In the video I show why!

Is keeping the main emitter on after the flash a feature of the light?

It’s a feature of the flashlight being in a “back door.” The back doors are how you set up or program the light. Remember this is one of the most advanced drivers in a. Custom flashlight you can buy. Insane amounts of configuration available to set the flashlight up exactly the way you want. For the high end enthusiast that has strong opinions on mode spacing or runtime, etc. Just to give you one insight into backdoors, backdoor 1 allows you to set up 1 of 4 complete UI configurations that you can swap between easily. So you could have one for CR123s, another for 16340s, another for Duty cycle and last one for enthusiast setting with ultra lows and max output. I am in early pre-production of creating an in-depth user guide on how to setup and use a Spy007 or Trek. A video user manual for Cool Fall. So stay tuned. It’ll take a while, expect it in Dec.

Wow! I could see where that would be useful for the different battery types. Thanks for clarifying!
