Are you sure the dog car harness wasn't an old April Fools product prank? I can't imagine when position that way, how comfortable that would be for the dog. It's not a natural position for dogs to be in. It would only take a few seconds for my dogs to hate being in that position, let alone position that way on a road trip.

Exactly what I was thinking. My dog, for one (a Papillon mix) HATES to be held that way. I can't imagine taking a long trip with her in that position. I'd be hearing about it from the back seat the whole time.

They make slings to hang your dog in that position, not only comfortable for the dog it makes any dog D docile you can trim their nails!

I seen it tested on the donut media KZread channel they couldn't get either dog to stay in it. You would have to start as a puppy so they are use to it.

The video is only 2 months and I've seen and/or used most everything in it. It's been a lot longer than 2 months ago with all of it too. The only thing I haven't used was built-in air jacks. But I have seen them outside of the racing application.

I used to secure my kayak to the roof with straps thru the door frame. Worked great until it rained. The straps wicked the rain right into the interior.

Well speaking of getting wet, I always preferred a canoe. When one maning your siting close to the center, one you can hit how ever big a wave as you like the canoe teeter totters over them. Traveling you have a three by five foot five inch thick piece of firm foam cushion put that on top of your car, or cab of your truck and with four motorcycle tie downs two in front two in back tightened down a bit can’t go forward can’t go back takes no time to load or unload!

A cargo carrier that takes no additional room on the back, except for that 1 and 1/2 to 2 feet off the back end. And that's when it's folded.

The electric rear hitch carrier is quite nice. The pickup rack needs to be above the vehicle roof height to be truly useful.

Possibly the height is targeted as those who have roof top tents, and still want to keep the overall height of the vehicle (while having one on), low to fit under garages etc.

@@fatmanoverlanding Possibly, but it's a matter of only a couple of inches higher that I suggested. By being higher than it is would allow usage for carrying long objects such as lumber and canoes. Oh well. It's their decision to short change themselves.

Funny they used an Audi S7 changing ride height in that AcuAir section. The Audi comes factory with adjustable height air suspension 😂

A lot of interesting stuff on this one that I had not seen before. The tire chains have been around for a long time now though, both Quality chain and Laclede chain manufacturers have had that exact quick fit chain design since at least 2012.

Yeah great idea, lets put 1500lbs of UTV and ramp at near roof height of your car. Even in a large pick-up its going to totally ruin the CG and make tipping over in a evasive maneuver or in hard cornering more than likely.

The snow chain on the BMW is Slovakia product. And was promoted on BMW in high tatra like a 3 years ago.

At 10:00 That Jaw Boss is a great product. Simple and affordable.

Citroen Hydropneumatic Suspension 1956 was capable of adjusting car clearance on the run, at least while it was new and running. As it got older the air leaked out and the frame would squat on the ground when turned off.

As a european Im genuenly surprised snow chains would be presented as an inovatation anywhere. We've been using them for decades and theyre even mandatory on most montain roads in winter if you are not equiped with winter tires.

i agree, here in the washington state USA we get snow every year and get a big ticket/fine for not having them when required as in crossing any of the cascade mountain passes wether you have snow tires or not...definitely not a new innovation...

Yes, camping is what it is used for. I have the exact same "shower awning'. I've fitted it on the roof rack of my 4WD (on the opposite side of my 270° awning). It's a quick & easy setup alternative to those pop up styles shower tents, that can be flimsy and be blown about by wind.

Car chain are mandatory for every car here in Italy during winter. Winter tires, or chain at board. That’s nothing innovative in it, and there are a lot of companies that will produce it (and a lot better of the type in the video, that’s a cheap type) , for every tipe of vehicle or tire.
