So beautiful ! ! Grinding requires efforts, skill and technique. Great Bharat, great culture and great people. Real nutritional and authentic food ! Didn't understand, Kulth was fermented or not.

Yes, there is a magical quality to these videos. All the components are natural yet highly sophisticated. That grinding process with its motion, colour and texture was particularly mesmerising. And wow! that grinding stone with its pattern and brightness when moistened with water was a poem in itself. No measuring, yet the cook got *the exact ratio* of grain and water for a perfect batter. The field of bright-yellow horse gram flowers waving gently in the breeze was soothing to the soul. Every action, from lighting the fire to steaming the idlis was done with grace, perfection and an economy of action which shows great experience and expertise. Watching these women prepare and cook food is a meditation. They are unseen gems and we should take their dust. The dignity of that lady in her red sari eating her food on a fresh green leaf was so lovely. May the blessings you shower on the world be showered on you in turn.

elizalandy sethu Just make it the normal way like all idlies are made. Horsegram is harder than urad can. So uh definitely needs to be soaked and grinded. just like you make urad dal. I made corn idlies and I did same way. Including semolina... in the case id corn and semolina... use thick buttermilk to soak
