Cooking For My Korean Dad (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

❏ BREAKFAST ❏
◦ INGREDIENTS ◦
➥ 1 cup of chicken bone broth
➥ 1 tsp soy sauce
➥ 1 bunch of bok choy
➥ 1/3 cup of oats
➥ 1 tsp of oyster sauce
➥ 1 tsp chili oil
➥ 1 hard boiled egg
◦ INSTRUCTIONS ◦
1. In a pot, heat up your chicken bone broth and soy sauce
2. While the broth comes to a boil, chop your bok choy into smaller pieces
3. When your broth comes to a boil, add in your oats and bok choy
4. Stir until it thickens
5. When it becomes a good consistency, add in oyster sauce to season
6. Serve with chili oil and a hard boiled egg
❏ CHICKEN AVOCADO WRAP ❏
◦ INGREDIENTS ◦
➥ 1 tortilla
➥ 1 tsp of mustard
➥ 2 leaves of lettuce
➥ 1 tsp of mayo
➥ 1/2 avocado
➥ tomato
➥ red onion
➥ chicken breast
➥ salt
➥ baby carrots
➥ hummus
◦ INSTRUCTIONS ◦
1. On your tortilla, spread mayo and mustard
2. Next place your lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, chicken breast and avocado
3. Season with salt and pepper and wrap up
4. Serve with some baby carrots and hummus
* Tip: Have some toothpicks handy to hold your wrap together

➥ taramasalata
➥ cherry tomatoes
❏ SIRLOIN VEGGIE STIR FRY ❏
◦ INGREDIENTS ◦
➥ 1/2 of onion
➥ 1 green pepper
➥ 1/2 of zucchini
➥ 1/2 lb of sirloin steak tips
➥ 1 tsp olive oil
➥ 1 tsp minced garlic
➥ 1 tbsp of soy sauce
➥ 1 tsp agave
➥ 1/4 of broccoli
➥ salt
➥ pepper
➥ onion powder
➥ 1 cup of rice
◦ INSTRUCTIONS ◦
1. Prep all your veggies by chopping
2. Cut your meat into bite size pieces and evenly
3. In a fry pan, heat up the pan with olive and oil and cook your onions, bell pepper, zucchini, and minced garlic
4. While the veggies are cooking, season your meat with onion powder, salt, and pepper
5. When your veggies are about halfway cooked, set them aside
6. Heat up a skillet with olive oil and cook your sirloin
7. When the meat is about 70% cooked, add in your halfway cooked veggies into the same skillet
8. Then add some soy sauce, agave, and oyster sauce to the medley and cooked through
9. Add in your steamed broccoli
10. Serve with rice and enjoy!

We can all agree that you had a blast making simple dishes for your dad . I couldn't stop smiling and laughing because it just shown genuine love you've with your parents now that you are a mother to son. This video definitely made me laugh after a long week. I can't wait for more content

Your dad is the cutiest dad with his reactions and support for you cooking him meals! I thought this was quite sentimental and wholesome. It inspires me and makes me wish I could have more time to cook for my parents as well. I’m 32 now, with aging, we really do wanna take the time to take care of our parents and build a closer connection with them.

ahh this was so wholesome! Your dads reactions were so genuine as well, especially when he had the rice cakes😂 and how you kept referring to Lennon while cooking for your dad was golden, seems like the child became the parent! How come you were making the foods for appa though? was it just for the video or was this already the case and you just filmed it? either way this was super cute and got some new ideas for some dishes!

It's the same system of me trying to make nutritious foods delicious. My dad asked me if I could make him a meal plan. He's been diabetic for a few decades and his doctor pushed him to change his diet this year.

Jenn I’m so happy you’re doing this for your Dad! My dad passed away from Covid in 2021 and I wish I got a chance to do this for him. Now that I’m in my late 20’s I’m realizing that one of the most purest forms of love is serving the people you love. Wishing you both so much love 🫶🏽😍
