Your Sunday dinner looks great. I am team wash my meat. I wash with vinegar and kosher salt and I change the water several times till it's clean to my liking. I always sanitize everything that's come in contact with the raw meat to ensure there's no cross contamination.

This looks so delicious. I never thought about cleaning my meat. But when you stop and think about how animals live, how they are killed for food, it's really nasty. Anyway, I love chicken and rice in any combination. Thank you again for another spectacular meal. Thank you so much, Miss Camirra. Blessings to you and yours. 🥰🥰😊😊

Hi Camira, I'm a huge fan from Australia 🇦🇺 and I absolutely love all the different dishes you can cook 😋. I'm going to try this 😋 yum yum yum yum. I have to make a few adjustments before we don't have all of the ingredients. I have purchased sazon packets from amazon along with Tony's and Old bay and Tagin and they are yummy as well as ad flavours. Bless you and your family, and keep on creating. x

Definitely 'wash' my meat and it is the first and only item taken care of at that time. Usually, I will season and then clean everything (hands, sink, faucet, knife, cutting board, etc.). It seems to be a cultural difference. On Instagram, I have read some very heated discussions on to wash or not. Those folks that quote the FDA by word do not look like you. Yes, I do try to check 🤣, let's call it curiosity 😄.

@CamirrasKitchen Yes, I see and I know 😄. I forgot to ask 2 questions: Will 'yellow' plantains work? Goggle is telling me that a packet of sazon is 1.4 oz. Is that accurate to what you used? I am asking because I only have large sazon bottles. We really love the various spice combos in this house. Thanks so much as I will be making this meal soon.

@@angelatruly yellow plantain will not work with tostones as they are too soft. they do fry well as a side of fried plantain though. that size sounds about right, 1.4 oz. if you measure it out i think its about 1 tsp, maybe 1 1/2 tsp
