It is refreshing that Conway made millions entertaining people but refused to use his platform to lecture people on who to vote for, what car to drive, what food to eat, etc. He just stuck to what he knew his fans loved and wanted - his music. He stayed in his lane as an entertainer and was one of the absolute top performers of his era. I wish the entertainers of today (not just musicians) would do the same.

When Conway started singing about Jesus Sebs sat back with a heart felt smile while his chest swelled with pride and at that moment if as if Conway didn't have his undivided attention he did at that very moment and Sebs took in and felt what Conway did what he made so many of us do... he felt it!!!! As Conway delivered yet another master piece

Never heard a bad song by Conway! Beautiful song! He's o9kknown as "the best friend a song ever had " for a reason. I'm sure you're figuring that out. Like all of us, you're loving Conway Twitty. Your next song of Conway should be a duet with Loretta Lynn.

"Who do they think he was"...think about that line. They called Elvis the King, but the only King is Jesus; they said Kennedy was Heaven sent, but that would be Jesus; they said he was a simple capenter later nailed to a tree, and that would be Jesus. Not Elvis, not Kennedy, but Jesus! Beautiful song. RIP Conway Twitty.

Just so you know: His real name is Harold Jenkins, but his manager told him he needed a memorable stage name. So he looked at a map and decided he liked the sound of Conway (Arkansas) and Twitty (Texas). He was one of my heroes and he died way too soon.

He always was my mother's favorite and still was as she laid on her death bed with his music playing in the back ground. She got to meet Conway 8 days before he died. My older sister took my Mom to Branson and while there, they saw Conway's show. Afterwards, Mom had to go to the bathroom so my sister stood in the hall and waited for her. Next thing she knew, Conway was walking down the hall in her direction. Barb stopped him and told him how much our mother loved him and asked if he would wait a couple minutes so they could meet. Imagine my Mother's surprise when she walked out that bathroom door and there stood Conway with arms wide open. He embraced her and they continued to have an amazing conversation and Barb was taking pictures. He was a very humble man and loved his fans dearly. Mom made each one of us kids an 8 by 10 picture of them embracing and I will cherish it until the day I die.

Back in the 80's i worked at George Jones' music park that was in my Texas town. Conway was performing so when i had a few minutes to get away i went backstage & stood at the edge of the curtain to get a close look at him. He looked my way & winked at me lol. I was flattered since all the women in the audience were screaming their heads off at the sight of him. I expected to see bras & panties flying up on the stage lol. The absolute best & most exciting job i ever had.

Do you know the host of the show? That is the famous Wayne Newton. I still remember the first time I saw him as a kid on Bonanza! (We were both kids at the time) He has basically been the, pardon my use of the word, king of Las Vegas for decades. He's best known for the song "Danke Shain". Great reaction, we sure do miss Conway! Have you listened to any of his duets with Miss Lorretta Lynn?

You spoke of “Tennessee Whiskey”, and the Stapleton version is nothing like the way the song originally was. David Allen Coe sang it, as well as George Jones back in the 80’s. Jones had a big Country hit with it over 40 years ago and I along with a bunch of us old timers love that version the best. I would love you to review George Jones’s version too! Totally different yet the same song!
