    Amazing work! This seems good for sewer treatment but not for drinking water. The total dissolved solids in both samples remain almost the same. Even though the colony count has decreased drastically, the treated water is not close enough to zero. Chemicals, "natural" or not must be tested to see their long term effects. What do these chemicals do to plant and wild life, humans? Finally, your results should have included sample of drinking grade water for a control, only then will you see how much further you have to go.

  • @sunilhema5

    @sunilhema5

    The foul odor is due to the bacterial digestion of all the suspended organic solids. The Need extract in Ecoclean kills the bacteria. The solids sink to the bottom as sludge. Automatically, the generation of foul odor stops.

    Since washing machine water is classified as "grey water", you must look for that solution. There are many videos. Just search for gray or grey water treatment. I saw good ones at Chennaimatters.in and Betterindia. CORRECTION: IT IS CITIZENMATTERS.IN & CHENNAI.CITIZENMATTERS.IN Essentially, light bleaching powder, followed by passing it through a membrane and then like rain water curing, through a sand and stone bed. I'm not aware of any safe chemical solution. BUT GREY WATER CAN ALSO BE USED FOR FILLING TOILET CISTERNS AND WITH ELBOW POWER, YOU CAN GET STARTED FAST. See chennai.citizenmatters.in/grey-water-recycling-guide-8597 for example. ok

  • @Vivenk88

    Hello, thanks for that explanation. That is very effective treatment for a relatively simple process. I had some questions: *1.* Isn't BOD of 30 mg/l still high? It shouldn't have more than 5 mg/l. *2.* Isn't TSS of 23 mg/l still hight? It shouldn't be more than 5-10 mg/l. *3.* Even COD of 136 mg/l is high. It should be maximum 20 mg/l. *4.* There is hardly any effect on TDS. Are the numbers at 6:00 in the video your final numbers or was this just a demonstration?

  • @ecohealth-redefiningpurity6425

    @ecohealth-redefiningpurity6425

    3 жыл бұрын

    This was just a demonstration, and that too with the worst possible sample on earth -- Cooum water. This contains not just sewage but also industrial effluents. So that is the reason why COD, BOD, etc do not go down beyond a point. Also this demo was conducted more than 4 years ago. Since then we have improved our products. Today sewage can be treated with a single product, ECOCLEAN-2300. We have been attaining TSS of less than 5, BOD less than 10 and COD less than 20 which are all acceptable parameters for drinking water. Thanks for the keen interest taken in our process.

    Kindly check out our website : www.ecohealth.in. You will find that there are a number of products in the Ecoclean line for treating different types of waste or contaminated water -- Ecoclean-20, Ecoclean-50, Ecoclean-2300, Ecoclean-AGTR, Ecoclean-ANMR, etc. The numbers and the alphabets after the brand name have been included for us to separately identify each product. A rose is a rose is a rose. By any other name, it would smell just as sweet!!!

    Milk factory (Dairy) waste water should be treated when it is still fresh. Once it starts fermenting, the smell becomes unbearable. Step 1 : Neutralise pH by dosing EcoLime-2300. Step 2 : Flocculate all suspended particles with Ecoclean-20 or Ecoclean-ANMR. Step 3 : Filter the clarified water through Sand and Activated Carbon filters. Step 4 : Dose the treated water with Ecoclean-50 Plus to kill all bacteria. The water can be reused for washing, gardening, etc. The sludge can be used as fertilizer.

    To drink, or not to drink... That's the question. In Singapore, treated sewage is sold in bottles under the brand name NEW WATER. I am drinking the treated water to show how safe it is after treatment. But you need not. in fact, my pitch is if this treated water is used for all secondary and tertiary activities such as flushing, gardening, construction, industrial uses, etc, the pressure on fresh water for human uses like drinking, cooking and bathing will reduce.

    New Water, a brand of packaged drinking water sold in Singapore is actually treated sewage produced and marketed by PUB (Public Utility Board), Singapore. The question of drinking treated sewage is only a mind set. But leaving that aside, Out of the nearly 140 litres of water used by every individual every day, hardly 5 litres is used for drinking and cooking. the rest is for secondary purposes. why not use this treated water at least for secondary purposes? That way, we will leave behind enough fresh water for drinking for our children, grand children and the generations to come.

    Sir you are adding BIOCIDAL agent and saying use for drinking purpose. (It may damage/ kill our body normal gut bacteria.) Flocculant is polyacrylamide which is again mutagenic agent.

    The bactericide used in our product are neem and tulsi. Both are extensively used in Indian medicinal systems and have some remarkable properties. One of this is that they are selective in their anti-bacterial action, eliminating only the pathogenic bacteria. The pro-biotic bacteria are left untouched. Neem also acts as a flocculant along with drumstick extract and Strychnos potatorum. We do not use polyacrylamide in our products; so there is no danger of mutagenic action.

    Madam. New Water, which is sold in bottles in Singapore, is treated sewage water. The world is on the brink of a major drinking water crisis and unless we use treated sewage at least for secondary and tertiary uses, we will all end up begging for sewage to drink!
