Conversations | Artist Talk: Haegue Yang

A reflective conversation between artist and curator on the occasion of Haegue Yang receiving the 2018 Wolfgang Hahn Prize and her first-ever survey exhibition and comprehensive catalogue raisonné titled ‘ETA 1994-2018’, at The Museum Ludwig. From South Korea, Yang works between Berlin and Seoul, and is known for her multi-sensory environments made of mundane found objects that address issues of labor, emotional connection, and dislocation. Yang will discuss her action-based objects, paintings and works on paper, as well as performative and large-scale installations.
