The worst thing about Converge is that they have sooooooo many 10/10 songs that it would seem impossible to pick a set that wouldnt be 3hrs long.......

My favorite part about this performance is how Kurt Ballou looks like he's some average joe going to pick up groceries on a Sunday afternoon. Meanwhile, he's a member of one of the most influential hardcore bands of all time.
Of all the bands I listened to from my childhood, Converge was at the bottom of the list of who I thought would still be around 20-30 years later. So happy these guys are still rocking it. And man I wish I could play guitar like Kurt. What a legend

yep, kurt runs two cab IRs from the helix to FOH physical cabs are just for stage volume

In this video they're using Quilter amps, but Kurt Ballou is using it as a power amp for a Line6 Helix floor unit

Many years ago I saw Justin Pearson in some girls and he was an asshole in my opinion. And his little rookie stage dive at the beginning where he actually has to acknowledge Jacob so that he can take a little bit of their clout makes me sick. But the new Dead cross record sounds good 😆
