When I lived on Ruxton & Pilot Knob, not only was parking free and one didn't need to register with the Gestapo City Council, we would welcome the tourists driving up the street .. share a joint, maybe a little lovin' Manitou is now just an authoritarian paradise, like Soviet gulag

I gotta side with the Ruxton Ave locals here. Car dependency is a plague that needs to be stopped because it gets so much harder to undo. Manitou being so walkable is a key feature of the city. The Shuttle service is a good option to get to downtown and the Incline trails / cog. Manitou really needs to improve the readability of the shuttle stop map and timings. I see a lot of advertising but not much usable info on using the service.
