Hi. I'm using an ftc kit from rev robotics and the prior owner of this kit has forgotten the password, so now I can't access it. I've resulted to the factory reset but it's not working. The LED lamp flashes only green and blue and the password isn't set back to default. How can I fix this? Note : I've sent an e-mail to support@revrobotics.com but as this is a VERY URGENT MATTER I thought it would be best to also ask in the comments section.

There are a few different ways of resetting the WiFi password on the Control Hub. Full details are in our documentation: docs.revrobotics.com/rev-control-system/managing-the-control-system/resetting-the-wifi-network

@@REVrobotics the device is a REV-31-1152 Control Hub and it is said that it doesn't have an easily updatable operating system.

This is not a complaint - just a suggestion: Is there a stackOverflow for Rev products? I really don't want to "contact support"; I want a stackOverflow type community that shares knowledge. And by the way, if you have all these solutions - why don't you publish them? You publish a lot of great stuff, but it all assumes everything goes to plan. Most of us get past the obvious stuff right away.

Thanks for the feedback. We do have troubleshooting information in the documentation/user manual for the specific product. In the case of the Control Hub that information is found here: docs.revrobotics.com/rev-control-system/troubleshooting-the-control-system Reaching out to our support team allows us to have more information to find common pitfalls users are running into. We work to incorporate solutions to those issues into the troubleshooting documentation, potential software updates for devices, or as feedback overall to take into account on the "next" version of a product. Overall being able to document that feedback is the best way to keep troubleshooting steps relevant and up to date.
