    I totally agree with u about the sales, I did the sales for the old company I worked for and on top of that I had to collect, order material, help the guys finish the job, redo all the shit that they would screw up, do the repairs and then every time a homeowner would be unhappy because of something the guys messed up and the boss had to pay for something it would come out of my check. It was hard to stay on top of all the leads while having to run around and do everything.

    That's the problem contractors dont appreciate sales guys a good rep sell high , properly measured and is a asset. there isn't a lot of guys that want to work straight commission and some of leads we run are crap its a give and take , a lot of roofing company's in seattle were started by sales guys and the most profitable are ran by sales guys installers no the tech but they dont know how to sell sales men can sound technical and hire installers THE SALES MEN ARE KINGS. be careful firing a closer cause they will start there own bussiness and kick your ass.

    it's a 50 50 thing. i give them leads and they get leads, i have them ck on job and they can get leads that way and have them collect, but im there if they need me
