Pausing at 11:26. I think because of your sloping driveway, where you are digging now, you should put metal grates there, at grid, to collect water away, so rain doesn't wash away the rest of the new driveway extension. Not sure I'm using correct terminology. But I hope you understand what I mean. Like an across the driveway area, that is grated to catch water and keep it away from drive way bottom? I don't know😂 Ask Nick what he thinks!

Hey Y'all!! Your place is really taking shape. I love the stone driveway, Nick is a great guy. And the bathroom, I like what your doing. Oh, I agree with the Australian lady, wear hats! I'll send you 2 from Alabama if you like. I've had skin cancer develop on my Dad, his Dad and my Mothers Mom. I started wearing a hat (well I was 22, but I was in the Navy). Buy the time I had gotten out they had all had the cancer. My Dad even had it on his ear(yes, part was cut off) his neck, big scar there. His back, yes places taken. The worst was his chest, the spot was approximately 10 inches in circumference. Well, living in the south and back then, guys didn't wear shirts outside! Just looking out for your health. I figured if I explained about my family history, it may make a bigger impact. So forgive me if it offended you. ✝️🙏❤🇺🇸🇵🇹👣☘🤗

I am sitting here in Queensland Australia laughing when you say its hot. We get the same thing from people who come from our cooler states down south and move to our state for the hotter weather then they whine all the time about it being too hot and humid for them. I love the hot humid weather but it’s something you need to be born in to really appreciate it. I would never move south for the cooler weather because I hate the cold. I think the secret is that when you are working you always keep drinking water that cools down your body temperature. We also carry special cloths you can get now that when you wet them you shake them and it makes them cold. Just the thing to have around your neck. From Australia

I'm allergic to extreme heat (self-diagnosed) so I only garden etc very early in the morning or early evening. My neighbors are not happy when I do the strimming early in the morning. Since they mow their lawns early in the morning, they have no room to complain! Lol. Do you have any neighbors with goats? They'll eat down all your grass, brambles, and anything else edible. Guard the veggies! I'm glad you're better. Flu always makes me feel like I've been beaten by a stick! A very large stick!!!! I usually tell my family to leave me alone for three days, then call me. If I answer, I've recovered. If not....🤷 So far, I've always recovered. Hooray! The driveway looks good! Nice job. Isn't it lovely to have an Uncle Nick? I would be laying in the dirt crying! Hard job plus the heat.

Just a suggestion, you need to get a cheap canopy to put over yourself while you working in the hot sun. If there’s such a thing as a “ canopy “ 😊

Put straight urine on lemon trees at the base, they love it and flourish! Finally a U-Tuber who shows how to compost no 2's properly. I saw some one once do a vlog and after using their toilet for a couple of weeks spread the no 2 contents over the large lawn of a relative they were visiting, yuk, it takes a minimum of 6 months for the contents to break down and be useable as compost.

I love your new driveway, it looks great. One thing that came to mind though was, that when it rains, you'll get a lot of water spilling onto your land, and have you considered some kind of French drain, to direct the water (so that it doesn't go into your wood shed or other places you may not want it)?

Another beautiful video❤ Your broad beans are obviously very successful this year. I normally don’t like the beans, but on a trip to Egypt a couple of years ago, we were served falafel made with broad beans. They were the best falafel I’ve ever eaten. There are recipes online. Cheers from Oz❤️❤️
