An offshore center console, with a performance-enhancing double-stepped hull, will require less horsepower to push but the big advantage will be fuel economy, something not normally associated with a large bluewater boat. A step down interior, in the center console, leads to additional storage and a marine head. Behind the helm you’ll find plenty of room for twin MFDs for your electronics. When the bite is on, running up to the bow is unobstructed with a one-piece level deck. The cockpit is also self-bailing. The walk-through transom will aid in bringing aboard a tournament winning catch, and divers will love it too. The boat’s multiple live baitwells are fed from pumps located in a built-in sea chest. A coffin box forward ensures your catch will stay fresh.

I know that you can find lots of center consoles with more creature comforts but the contender has always been my favorite

I like the looks of Contender & general ride is great. But have you really looked at & been in a CAPE HORN.. They are Built Stronger Better Safer than anything out there... Totally Unsinkable

Twin 350 v8s is enough but I would go trip300 cause the 350s aren't as feasible and it cant plane on one engine with that big of a load

If i was purchasing one i too think triple 300's make for a good setup!
MSRP $239k 7 years ago....today (2024) it's doubled in price.
3 300s better choice.

Boat is very light weight for 35' boat.2x300 should work well.
