Contact Excerpts (KDKA, 1970)
American journalist Marie Torre worked at KDKA in Pittsburgh from 1962-1976. She hosted and co-hosted many shows on KDKA, including 'Eavesdrop' with Bill Burns, 'Contact', and 'The Marie Torre Show'. Precious little footage survives from her on-air work at KDKA. This is a compilation of clips from around 1970.

I imagine the announcer at the start of the Contact "KDKA 50th anniversary" show must be Ken Kirk.
At what point did KDKA replace their RCA TK-43 cameras with newer models (I presume TK-44A's)? I know they were still using the former at the point of the first of those clips (where Tiny Tim was a no-show).
Doesn’t seem like Tiny Tim’s fault at all, he genuinely wanted to be on. Just isn’t fair how managers treat the people, usually musicians, that they work with
