$48.50/month for 2 lines, unlimited text/talk, 5GB. Cheaper than anybody's service we've talked to. Had Consumer Cellular for 8 years, customer service, when I needed it, was always great.

Eight years? They didn't offer unlimited talk and text when I had consumer cellular two years ago!

I'm always skeptical when a person in their ad says they save hundreds of dollars per month. I doubt that!!

And by the way you can call consumer cellular and request to not automatically upgrade if you go over your usage. I have mine like this. Just a simple phone call, no surprises!

But then, you have no talk and text until your plan renews the next month. I want to talk and text as much as I want, and therefore, changed my carrier for unlimited talk and text.😊

I am just finding out that CC will not replace a battery at all, if you didn't sign up with some kind of insurance with it at the beginning. I never thought that replacing an old battery would be such a big deal, but it is with CC. So they have offered me to buy a new phone with them. How nice.

Frauds and liars. Even though I told them to cease and desist from sending me information they refuse. Yesterday I received another card and on the address label it said do not contact. They are now committing criminal harassment.

I'll stick with Visible for right now.

Not true investigated theses phone carries before signing your privacy away they are hiring people who have no ideal of what they are doing telemarketing.

I would watch out for Consumer Cellular. They might be over selling their service. They were working ok until they started spamming TV ads on Court TV. My service was progressively getting worse over the past months. Texts messages were being delayed and phone calls weren't going through. The problem could have been with AT&T also. I switched carriers and have zero problems so far. I had to dump T Mobile because I don't need 20gb a month data.

I don't understand the complaints here. We have been on Consumer Cellular(AT&T towers) for 2-1/2 years. Pretty solid cell service. We have 15g data over three lines, so we are not heavy data users, using WIFI as much as possible. We have called the company three times, mostly getting new phones setup. And the customer service has been rock solid. We are paying $95 total a month for three lines. I guess that we have just been lucky?

Well for one they use internet for calling. And that can be overhead on other phones. if you are on the phone. It's possible for someone else to hear your conversation. Also dropped calls. Delayed texting, These I've all personally experienced. Yeah I'm sure some do have good service. But the map on the commercial shows all... and that false. Me and my wife have this service and it's horrible.

Vermin took me for over $80 Which I could not get back I tried to cancel due to poor reception, then one month (charged) 2 months (charged again)! Finally it stopped. I had reception issues whole in Georgia and Chicago! The worse part; in order to cancel I had to do it in person; except the satellite brick and mortar building was never open! Never again!

It is horrible... Horrible reception in rural areas. Dropped calls... And severely lacking good call centers.. they just ask..reset settings..... fn horrible...

They give you 30 days trial, Ii believe. Use your own judgement.

My wife and I switch to Consumer Cellular about 3 years ago it started out low now it is just as expensive as AT&T was

That's because it is ATT they no longer use T-Mobile towers just ATT and it's as slow as when I was s ATT costumer, I left to Mint mobile for 6 days because my Motorola Edge 5G used the TMobile 5G tower's ATT only has 4GLTE but they claim it's 5G it's 5Ge or 5G evolution which is supposed to be a better 4G they all lie like rugs to hook you in & when I got the mint Sim it said ultra & I could not change the APN ultra was purchased by T-Mobile years ago and they aren't supposed to use those SIMs & I specifically asked if I would be able to use my WiFi and they said yes! Ya it was TMobile internet and I couldn't get it to use my WiFi at home! And I know that I won't get a refund cuz their playing games! Consumer Cellular has always been a great company but I don't appreciate seeing ATT software update installed on my phone! So if you don't mind using ATT there good been with them since 2017 but I expect it to go downhill with ATT I can't get short codes and they argued with me for days saying if I get a text I can receive a short code! Next person said CC doesn't support short codes since there maybe a charge? That should be up to me! My Doctor still sends short codes for appointment reminders!

I bought new iPhone in December 2021 they had me pay it off to change and then made me keep for 180 days and trouble disconnecting ! They should be Sued for false Advertising ! God Help you if you go ! 🙏🏼🥺😢🤢👹

I very much like my consumer phone/system; one critique; if you would stop advertising every 2 minutes; the money's you would save could make the service even less expensive!🎉

I was looking at mint but it uses t mobile and the t mobile coverage is horrid here. I am trying consumer cellular for the AT&T. Came from google fi which was t mobile andbthat was trash.

The exact opposite with me. T Mobile has great coverage in my home and AT&T is really bad. I had to dump CC because they used AT&T. So Mint is working great for me.

@bille.2266 funny how that works. I've had consumer for a week now, and it's a night and day difference. I think t mobile might be better in more city ish populated areas and atnt seems to be better out in the middle of no where. At least this has been my experience in north eastern PA

I love consumer cellular! I do not sit all day and watch KZread or tic tock. I work for a living like old school work, outside of my home not sitting in a make believe office making videos. There are many many people that love consumer cellular and it fits there needs. i heard a doctor say that he is seeing more and more young people needing physical therapy because of being on the phone all day. Just wait when you become older and see that you have that big hump on your back. Play now, Pay Later

You're actually right. I have issues with my hands, and my wrist. My neck and back hurt all the time. I also get head aches. I know it's not all from sitting on my phone all the time, but most is. Im 35 and have these issues, so I know when I'm older it's gonna give me an issue with pain.

Keep playing the cell phone chess game, its a rip off no mattter which provider you choose😮

Why would anybody do business with a company that has an ad on TV that ask if you are smart enough, then says they will wait for you to get smart. Then ask you if you are smart enough. Must have been a stupid college kid ad man that thought that bit of stupidity up. Was another stupid college kid that thought it was a good idea and approved it. They probably owe a ton of tuition fees because they didn't know what they agreed to. That same poor decision making shows in their job related decisions.
