I done Engineering from Gov College on 2007, Now working as Sales Manager in Car dealership, Engineering have no scope and no good salary, When i was Working as Service Engineer my salary was 22000, I changed my profile to sales now earning 50000 +, my old service job friends still at 35000 fix salary, I will not recommend my son to do Engineering.

That is your choice, but you are drawing conclusions in a few years. It is possible that you may work only for 10 years and your service job friends may work for 25 years. Many other variables play a role. Engineering education is very important because of its mathematical inclination. It makes you are better person in many ways. You understand human relationships and financial aspects better if you are an engineer vs. some BA person.

IIT passed students but still lack of skill so what they were learning in IIT. If in IIT they are not learning skill than what is the purpose of IIT. You can't learn every thing in IIT, after work with some organization you learn and develop your skill, every one just want 100 % skill in just passed out freshers.🙄

Increase in students answering JEE is basically because some states have stopped their local Test for admission to engineering. Like in Goa from this year admission to local engineering colleges is based oncJEE score.

Akal kay andhey, starting job salary say koi farak nahi padta. Life time earning is what really matters. IIT Engineers may have trouble finding a job in a given year, but that does not mean they will remain unemployed for a lifetime.
