Hey, please it would be very helpful if you would upload a video of how you solve a problem, right from doing market research and gathering data surrounding the problem and coming up with the solution , because most of my friends including me like solving problems but hate researching and gathering data , and also there aren't any youtubers doing it , please explain the process in very detail right from the start…..Thank you

Hey Zomar! Within most Consulting firms, the ranking start from Graduate -> Consultant -> Senior Consultant -> Manager -> Senior Manager/Associate Director -> Director -> Partner. The key difference between a Manager vs. a Consultant in Operations Consulting, is that the Manager has responsibility of running the engagement including ensuring deliverables are met, the budget, resourcing etc. The Consultant's role would be to undertake the analysis/activity and provide this back to the Manager for review/work with them to get to the outcome. In terms of what you need to read, it depends on the project. It could vary from financial reports, business cases, process maps, historical data, annual reports, news articles/journals, anything! Hope that answers your questions!

Thanks for your question Feisal and apologies for the delayed response, it's been a crazy few months at work! Supply chain optimisation is about process improvement and optimising processes in the supply chain to build resilience through risk, uncertainty and to decrease inefficiencies. This may occur in developed organisations and supply chains i.e. they may have been operating for 50 years. Supply chain design on the other hand is the development of processes within the supply chain, i.e. how raw materials end up as a finished product to the customer, and generally occurs at the beginning of an organisation's life, or the development of a new product/service.
