We are proud to be part of the McFarland Construction Workforce Development Internship Program sponsored by ‪@fifththirdbank‬. This program provided hands-on construction training to four West Charlotte High School students! These students, who are in their junior or senior year of school, earned money this summer while learning more about a career pathway. McFarland, a minority-owned construction firm, gave these students this opportunity on a Fifth Third Bank project on Beatties Ford Road. "We are looking to expand this through the bond program and other opportunities across the nation," said Joel Dancy, Fifth Third Bank Vice President.
