Ramp construction in ARCHICAD: This video shows you how to create a curved ramp between two stories of an existing building using LAND4 objects and tools.
You will see how to design and geo-reference the ramp using Spot Levels (3D Point) and Ridge Lines (3D lines), and how to easily control the fall of the ramp. Following this, the video will show how it just takes a single click to enable modelling the ramp as a surface with a thickness (LANDSurface).
The design of the ramp is done using the Spline tool. And with the help of Spot Levels placed at each of the building's entrances, it just take a few clicks to convert the 2D Splines to 3D lines and model the surface afterwards.
